It's a huge upset, but not even the biggest in NFL history. Biggest in sports history? Not even close.

Point wise, but they weren't playing an undefeated team.

Correct, but the statement was greatest upset ever, not greatest win against an undefeated team ever...see what I mean. It was definately a huge win and a great upset. In the history of superbowl's, it's in the top couple. In the history of sports, I'm not sure it cracks the top 10.

Taking a look at it non-bias opinion agrees

Bah, I don't buy this crap as a "huge upset"... last game of the season the pats won 38-35... that was a hell of a close game with quite a few injured giants. I grant that it was an upset, anyone with half a brain should see that... but a huge upset? just because they were 18-0? Drop the 18-0 for a sec and look at the last games they played vs the giants (38-35, 27-20preseason) not "blow-outs" or anything close. So I just don't see where the HUGE UPSET comes from... and biggest upset in history? are you kidding me? USA's win over the USSR in hockey was MUCH bigger then this and I could think of tons more...
Maybe biggest upset in Pats history... or maybe even biggest upset for a 18-0 football team...

If the winless Dolphins beat the undefeated Pats in the last game of the regular season, that'd be a bigger upset than the game tonight.
JaredDiceCramer
Yeah....not the biggest ever. Take a look at week 17....the Giants stood toe to toe even then. I didn't really think they were a 12 point dog.
