| As a Carolina Panthers fan, I didn't really give a shit about who won this game. Giants played really well tonight and got it done against one of the greatest football teams EVER (no matter what team you root for, you cannot argue that this Pats team will probably be in the top 10 best sports teams of all times). But what takes this game away from the Giants, and all their hardcore fans (and for any team that wins the championship for that matter), are these stupid bandwagon fans that talk all this shit just because they can. Living in NJ I see all of these people who were ready to fire Tom Coughlin and wanted to see Jared Lorenzo take the snaps after the 0-2 start. Now these same people, and many many others, are running out to buy their Eli jerseys after the Dallas and Green Bay wins, and are talking about him like he's the next Joe Montana. Some of my friends that like the Giants thought they lost tonight before the kick off, and now they won't shut the hell up about how great they played and how great Eli and every other Giant is. The Pats/Tom Brady still have been in 4 of the last 7 Superbowls, and won 3 of them...that's not to bad! (I'm sure they will also bounce back from this next year without much of a problem) To the real Giants fans...congrats, you guys deserved it. For all you bandwagon Giants fans and Pats haters...go screw yourselves because you really have no place to talk. |
