I couldn't help but notice during the replays that Bubba doesn't say "on the chip" as much as he did in '06.
That is my best attempt at nitpicking over the minute details of the show....working two shows must be wearing him down...he is cheating us listeners....does he say "on the chip" during the morning shows more? DAMMIT!!!!!

I thought it was a great game! I didn't think it was going to be high scoring, so I wasn't disappointed at all. I was actually betting on it being a lower scoring game :) he hee.. $$$$$
The commercials were weak this year. Maybe they didn't work too hard on them since the economy is in the shitter anyway? Beats me.. I did like the dancing lizards though! |

The only one that I really liked was Hank The Clydesdale, training with the dalmatian to become part of the wagon team ...
I thought it would be a higher-scoring game myself ... I had no reason to think otherwise, particularly since their first meeting this season netted 73 points between the two teams ... I was just happy that it wasn't a blowout ... |

I did like the horsey commercial too.
The Pat's haven't made their spread for the last 8 games before the superbowl, I didn't think they were going to start last night again :) |

You might need to go threw stickam directly, I know on Friday night they had Tabitha Stevens up and running, and then all of a sudden there were problems that do not seem to be fixed yet. |

I didn't want to bet, afraid I'd totally fucking lose my marbles. I was so happy! That first half was boring but intense because I kept waiting for the Pats to explode offensively.
The Giants flat out TOOK that Superbowl from the Patriots. It was such a foregone conclusion to so many people.....made it even sweeter. The only thing that sucks is that Mercury Morris really annoys the fuck out of me with his shitty attitude.

Brent Hatley said in one of the replays last week that Eli will be the better QB over Peyton when all is said and done. That was during the week leading up to the Packers game. While I feel that still may be an overstatement....I got all happy about his optimism!:dance:

so i am going to Cali on thursday (burbank, ca) to help my cousins move back to Massachusetts. So we are doing a road tip (4 of us, we are all around hte same age) and taking a southern route. anyone have any suggestions of sights we should see on our journey. we are hitting up AZ, TX, NM, TN, LA, PA
we are going to a rodeo (my first rodeo ever!), alamo, graceland, new orleans, i think we are going on some sort of haunted house tour... stuff like that.
does anyone have any suggestions as to what else some 25-30yr olds would enjoy while passing thru? |
