BENJY'S BACK
- For awhile people have been saying Benjy has been so quiet. What are all the crazy Benjy antics we love? Well, now he's back in full force with all the Ivy Supersonic stuff and all of Wednesdays action with the security. What are your favorite Benjy moments?
- We always hear about his Shtick Coma. Do you enjoy the Benjy interaction or does it annoy you?
- Benjy was dating Ivy but we could never get a real answer about sex. Was it all a bit?
- SFNer Robyn the Artist went out on a date with Benjy but even that got weird. Will we hear from her again?
TM OR BULLSHIT
- The way Howard & Robin explain transcendental meditation, 1/2 of me wants to rush out like a good Stern sheep and pick it up but then the other 1/2 of me thinks it's all bullshit. I'd like to hear the fans opinions.

RIGHT OR WRONG
- Howard's pissed at Doug for sitting his kid in the chair. Doug thinks it shouldn't be a big deal.
- Howard feels Vinnie intentionally sent the email to Dana. Vinnie says it was an accident.
- Beth doesn't want Sal at the wedding. Sal feels Howard should have his back.
- Howard thinks every single thing is fair game to discuss on the show. (even to the point he "forgets" when things are discussed off air).
- Eric the Whatever he's being called this week, is on the show nearly every day.
- Scott being upset that he's not on Jason's bachelor party list.
ARTIE'S ON FIRE!!!
- What's happening with Artie? Even with the colossal Dana debacle last week, he still in there laughing uncontrollably. Is it just me or has he been having fun at work and funnier than ever?
- I caught Artie's act last week at Gotham. It was the funniest I've ever seen him. He had a ton of brand new material about Keith Ledger and other current events. it was a far cry from other shows where it seemed like it was a pain in his ass and was just going thru the motions. What was the turning point? Talking with Dana, Vegas, Giants in the Superbowl, winning 78k, Letterman, the beach house, his new hooker girlfriend, etc?
- Howard is the first to admit that he can't have any distractions before a Letterman appearance but then he pushed for the 3 penthouse strippers to accompany Artie on his. Was he taking care of his bro or secretly setting him up to fail and NOT do as well as he did on his last month's Letterman appearance?
- Artie sent Dana 1000 roses for Valentines Day. Does it count since the sponsor came up with the idea?

CALLING INTO THE SHOW: When calling into the show, there's no need to give shout outs to SFN or your friends on SFN. We don't have a ton of time so please don't waste any of it. We already have topics setup. Please be a good caller and respond to the topics. Thanks 1-888-STERN-101
GETTING ON THE SHOW: Each week I start a roundtable brainstorming thread where the fans help build our topics and a listening thread where people discuss the show while it's happening. if you'd like to do the show, get in there and participate. once you've been around for awhile ask to be on the show and pick a date. there's a schedule posted in every brainstorming thread.
GUESTS OF THE SHOW: The show airs from the Sirius studios in NYC Times Square. It's on the 36th floor of the McGraw Hill building on the corner of 49th & 6th in studio 21. Guests should be there at 6PM so we can do mic checks. The show goes live at 7PM. You can not bring any friends. our studio is very small and there's really no place for them. I'll need your full name in advance and you need to bring your ID for security. If I don't put you on the list and you don't have your ID, you will not be able to get in.
This is an office and you are expected to be on your best behavior. It's not some free for all party. You shouldn't do anything that you would do when stopping by the bank. You cannot bring alcohol, take off your clothes, make noise, or bother people. I know you are a Stern fan but we're not out at the bar. You need to be cool. Don't stop them and ask for an autograph or photo. Everytime one of you misbehaves, I get a new rule to follow.
You CAN NOT walk around Sirius. You will be escorted from the upstairs lobby to the studio and back out. Do not take it upon yourself to just walk around & check things out. Nobody is allowed to stop by other shows. DO NOT stop by Ferrall's studio under any circumstances even if you think it's OK. I've been told by management that it's not. If you'd like to be a guest on Ferrall, they need to put you on their guest list.
You may take photos in the studio but please do not take pictures in the halls or lobby.
DO NOT sign the wall.
All plugs must be approved in advance. If you are going to be on the show and you have something to plug, you need to let me know the day before. ANYONE WHO PLUGS A WEBSITE OR BUSINESS WITHOUT PERMISSION WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK. |

I figure the boys coming back from vacation this week will come up. Perhaps Mutt would like to talk about Bubbapalooza coming around.. I think the only way people getting pissed about it would be if the topic was crow barred into the show.. the Stern stars have been mixing it up with the Bubba crew lately, calling in to the show and shooting the shit... Artie and Baba the last 2 weeks before they went on vaca..
It will be a fun week to be on, LOTS of good shows for the fans to talk about!! |

Please Mutt don't give Ivy anymore airtime. I can't stand that she feels that she is a celebrity.
Robin & Jim- talk about how if it was Howard and Beth with Langford telling people to call H100 when they first started dating, he would have put a stop to it. Time for H100 to lay off.

Was Howard subconsciously trying to undermine Artie's appearance by providing him with a huge unnerving distraction (the girls) just hours before Artie's Letterman appearance?
-Howard freaks before any appearances himself, and needs 'quiet' time to collect his thoughts. Last time, Howard had to visit his shrink. In previous years, Howard would get a hotel room downtown to 'rest,' meditate, and chillax to ease some of the anxiety. Why put such a huge distraction (partying with the girls) before Artie at the last minute, if not to undermine?
-Howard is super competitive, claims he always "needs to win," no matter what.
--Artie has been having good guest spots on a number of shows, his popularity growing while Howard's once-loyal audience is turning critical--constantly ragging on him. (e.g. SFN)
--Artie is becoming more popular even with Sirius staff, including interns, as judged by the popularity poll last year.
--Artie is bagging $70 to $80K per weekend/show, with more and more outside offers coming in weekly
-Howard has a well-known, not-so-hidden 'mean streak,' frequently admitting he loves to see others fail, and loves to make people cry.
-Howard knows Artie is plagued by low self-esteem when it comes to hot babes. Setting Artie up with three hotties is a recipe for disaster.
Is Howard above 'secretly' wishing the worse for Artie, hoping he'd FAIL and NOT do as well as Howard did on last month's Letterman appearance? Or was Howard just trying to be a good Bro and set Artie up with fine poon, no strings attached?
Was it all 'a bit for the Show,' or was there more to it--below the surface? |

- I caught Artie's act last week at Gotham. It was the funniest I've ever seen him. He had a ton of brand new material about Keith Ledger and other current events. it was a far cry from other shows where it seemed like it was a pain in his ass and was just going thru the motions. What was the turning point? Talking with Dana, Vegas, Giants in the Superbowl, winning 78k, Letterman, the beach house, his new hooker girlfriend, etc?
- Howard is the first to admit that he can't have any distractions before a Letterman appearance but then he pushed for the 3 penthouse strippers to accompany Artie on his. Was he taking care of his bro or secretly setting him up to fail and NOT do as well as he did on his last month's Letterman appearance?
- Artie sent Dana 1000 roses for Valentines Day. Does it count since the sponsor came up with the idea?

| I would like to see a discussion about Arties underlying truth that he is a white supremesists gay basher. I know he claims he isnt but the way he bashed high pitched Mike saying he hope he gets AIDS from his fag boyfriend, and then later says "Oh I was just mad I didnt mean it, i have nothing against gays." Well what if he hits Mike out of anger? Does he not mean it because he was mad, or what it goes even farther. I am starting to see a growing trend of hate and violence coming from Artie. Its many things, the drugs, the gambeling, but I see things spiraling out of control. I feel Howard needs to stop pussy footing around Arite, discipline him for his actions and let people know that now matter what and who you are on the show there is no double standard. |
