I'm probably gonna get blasted for this but i think it needs to be said, it seems to me that the "sirius" show has really gone down hill ever since they started their new "T" show. Is it just me or does anybody else feel this way? It seems that all they do anymore is pod up CNN or all the crap they played today, superbowl commercials/players/coaches audio. I guess if i'm alone in this i'm gonna get blasted and if so oh well just my observations. I also know the suits have pretty much tied their hands but there's gotta better content than CNN.
BrentsBooger
I agree that the Censored radio show has been more entertaining then the Censor free Radio at Sirius

We can thank sirius 4 this......... bubba and the guys are working their asses off, their talking abot the same shit 2 times a day trying to make it funny 4 the fans.. Give them a break
Bubba/SternFnz
pokerstar i agree that it must be tough doing two shows a day, i guess i wish the sirius show was the first show of the day instead of the other way around.

I agree that the am show has been better. However, the guys have been busting their balls since this all went down.

Why is the Sirius show less interesting? Thank one Patrick Donnelly. They are allowed to do a lot more on the terrestrial deal, and it is better radio. Between forcing the guys to work in other venues financially, and watering down what the guys are allowed to do down to nothing, upper management is the one to thank for the pm show suffering on all fronts.

Thanks dicks.....but allowing the show to go to terrestrial proved one thing for me.....that the show is just as good or better on FM, and that I no longer worry what I will do if they don't renew after this year. It's sirius' loss......I can still get the show here in good old ohio. It's a little more work, but I wont have all this hassle fighting with this junk overpriced equipment, or paying a subscription fee.

Personally I like it when they talk about the news, since most of the news is so boring it goes out one ear and out the other. I can listen to Bubba and Brent talk the news all day, and most of the time I agree with them. The attack on scientology was good. I didn't catch a lot of today's show, but I was in agreement with them most of the time besides Bubba needs to quit listening to Heather's chick music. White guys don't listen to top 40 anymore unlike back in the late eighties when Def Leopard, Gun's n' Roses, Aerosmith and U2 dominated that chart. If he wants some new music, pay attention to the active rock and alternative charts. Atleast some of that music is alright.

Funny thing is, there isn't that much overlap between what they talk about on both shows. I don't know how they do it.

they are doing an awsome job keeping the shows separate i enjoy both shows tremendosly. the cocksucker pld had slowed the sirius show down way before the testicle deal started. thanks fuckhead. but bubba and crew do the best radio on radio even with the rules handed them from the irish fuckschtick. what im saying is the bubba show is the best thing on ter or sirius but it could be better without input from some lawyer who knows shit about radio.

Most of the times some of the best radio is just the guys sitting around talking and taking phone calls. The same goes for Howard. Although on Howard I find them repeating the same stories over and over and over and over again.

I thought yesterday's show was great.

With that said that fuck blaming Sirius for the problem. If they put on a subpar show they are only fucking us.
dcmascot
I only hear the Sirius show, and at times I can tell they are tired, but its still a great show and better than anything I can hear on terrestrial radio like Don & Mike.

Attn: Sirius management -> You get what you pay for (or in their case, underpay)

The Sirius show sadly is a year long goodbye for the 1/9/2006 fans.

And taking phone calls from many of the same boring people who have nothing to add to the show...

At this point, I think it may be a waste of time for Bubba to have his representation even negotiate with Sirius past 2008. Sirius clearly has its objectives and knows what direction it will go in.

And more and more, I'm starting to believe when Bubba says he wishes he got fired from Sirius (so he can go to terrestrial full time and expand his terrestrial show prior to 2009).

I still don't get how they couldn't pay this guy more. Obviously Sirius is making money with over 8 million subscriptions now. Buuba and the crew are the funniest fuckers on Sirius. Now the poor slob has to work 2 gigs to pay the bills.

They pay Stern 100 Million fuckin dollars. Why not pay Bubba what he is worth to keep him around for a while?

I think the Sirius show has gone down - not surprisingly. What sucks is that if the quality stays low in the afternoon, he probably won't get renewed.

Walk out on the average street in the country - ask 25 random people who Howard Stern is, and everyone knows. Ask who Bubba is and 20 probably won't know - unless you're in Florida or a Sirius subscriber. I'd never even heard of him before signing up for Sirius and I've been a Howard fan since the '80s. How many times has Bubba been on a late night TV show? Just the sad truth...

If Bubba wouldn't spend so much money, he probably wouldn't have this problem.

Listen to him talk about how much he spends on racing, redoing his house, building a gym, etc.

How much does he spend on getting everyone to those Bubbapalooza's?

That's where his money is.

The show sucks now, blame whoever fact is its gone downhill in a matter of weeks, does not look like he is even putting an effort in. I did not think he would throw in the towel this quickly.

Its too bad when he does not get his own way he pouts like a little girl. Not easy to listen to, and save the dont listen BS. I only have sirius for Howards channels.

I wouldn't say the show 'sucks' - but he is showing how much he really doesn't want to be there.

He doesn't want Howard TV coming down, anything from corporate he takes as 'disrespectful', he said he wants to be fired. He's getting burned out.

Hopefully it is just a bad day and he gets over it.

Bring back the Radio Chick, see ya later Bubba.

I have to say that I loved the btls show when it was cool. Now, it has been reduced to a dunk tank and the guys talking about who they would butt-fu**. It's just not interesting anymore. Bubba's a one trick pony that has done the trick. and the rest is smoke and mirrors. Smoke and mirrors don't do well on the radio. Let's get on the bandwagon to get a good show for the afternoon and let Bubba do his show on florida radio.
radsmachine
My meaning is that it doesn't have to be dirty. It has to be interesting to most people. Local dirt track racing and people who you can't understand on the radio are not interesting.

Sounds like a GREAT IDEA to me!!! Bubba is average at best if he is gonna be sensored and he knows it.
Bubba/SternFnz
I hate to say it but i think Bubba said it best today and i Quote "when did this show jump the shark"? It really pains me to say it too, i listened to bubba back in the XM days and absolutely loved the show, then when he came to sirius the show was great for a while then as time has gone on it gone downhill. I know the suits in NY have had alot to do with that, i guess i better just shut up and listen while i can cause it won't be long and he'll be gone. Just my 2cents.

That's not true at all. The FM show has been great. It's a high energy, extremely entertaining show. Sirius is a great medium and it's nice to have uncensored radio, but you can have a good show working somewhat "clean." Howard and Bubba did a great show on terrestrial radio for years.

Yes the show on Sirius seems to have suffered. To me it seems like it's lost it's spontaneity a bit. And the Irish fuck seems to be responsible. But it's sad to see a bunch of Bubba fans thinking he's doing a bad show and trying to screw them over on purpose. I think he has too much pride in his show and cares too much about the fans for that. I honestly think Bubba is trying his hardest, but it's difficult to do when it seems like Sirius wants to get him to quit.

Donnelly seems to be a combination of Pig Virus and John "Penis" Hayes at WNBC.

Pig Vomit: "Either I'll tame him. Or I'll make him so crazy, he'll quit."
So Hard Done By
You guys aren't being consistent when you say the FM show is great and the problem with the Sirius show is the censorship.

The big story is when the spring ratings come out. If Bubba really moves the needle in Florida or sells his reality tv show then he has some position to quit Sirius or might not care if he gets fired. But until he has that in his hip pocket he's crazy taking the sulky posture with Sirius. Even with that his posture towards Sirius is crazy so soon after he pursued them to be able to get back on the Sirius airwaves.
Deathshead
I agree its nolonger as entertaining and find my self going back and forth between 100 and 101 but it seems that when I switch back to 101 or listen in on any given day it seems like the same show, like they are stuck in some sort of creative rut
