After hearing Bubba's slip up today they should rename bubbapalooza to 2007 Farewell tour.
He said clearly and without hesitation (Before are cantract is up and we say goodbye at the end of the year, we will go to California.) Qoute.
I do believe he has no intention of coming back to sirius after this one year stint with sirius. Time will tell but when it comes May/June and he is not starting to cry about not having a contract you can almost be sure, he's gone. |

| Really I would be surprised if he made it all year....shame |

If a company didn't offer an employee even a $1 raise after two years of service, I wouldn't expect the employee to be happy and want to stay with said company.
I can't even imagine what Sirius would offer Howard after his five years (if he wanted to broadcast four days a week again). I imagine it would be more than $500 million.
I just would love to know if Ferrall is going to get a raise or not. |

| Sucks. I hope he makes it until the end of the year. Right now he is thinking 'why I am even doing this?" He isn't making money at Sirius, he's tired from the double shifts, and he is still frustrated with the disrespect of a one year deal for less money. |

| I think that the stalled merger deal really screwed Bubba. Maybe it would have been different if the merger went through and the company started to turn the corner. I am surprised that both Sirius and XM have continued this far with all the money that they are losing. |

| Yea, Bubba is done with Sirius. That really fuckin sucks. Who in the fuck could replace him? It better not be that fuckin Miserable Men bullshit! |

Howard is not getting more money on his next deal. At the time he signed he had Sirius by the nutz and really cleaned them out. I could see Howard going to a one day a week or shorter afternoon show since Sirius will not be able to afford to pay him THAT again.
They should have the $$$ for Ferrall since it's mostly just one guy and not a crew, plus Ferrall never maimed anyone.
I hope Bubba doesn't get shit on by the FCC on testicular radio, but I guess he is learning in his old age. Anyway maybe a deal where he is on Sirius for 3 days a week or something could work for everyone. |

| I was becoming a Bubba mark. I listened every day for a year but you can tell he isnt happy being at Sirius and it is reflecting on his show. More music breaks, old tapes and more commercial breaks, imo. Im gonna hate Sirius over this shit. I would consider cancelling if it werent for Ferrall. |
|
|
| fizzlefart |
| Sirius should of paid him what he deserves and promote him. I am really pissed at Sirius and will cancel when Howard retires. |

| I agree, the show is just not the same anymore, a couple of weeks ago at the end of the show instead of the usual signoff we got "Well, I guess thats good enough for me fellas." what the fuck... I love the show but it ain't the same anymore! |

| Sad thing is Bubba signed the contract, knew what he was getting into but was either to stupid or greedy to care. |

Im thinking he may have been under the impression that Sirius would eventually sign him to an exclusive contract once the merger went through and this was all just temporary. Now he is just frustrated that he isnt getting the respect he deserves and feels they are just gonna fuck him over |

| I'm glad I live in Tampa. I get him either way. That's also why I will only continue to get Sirius three months at a time. |

No, thats not it. What the fuck do you think he gets to get away on TR? Its all about money dude. You can measure respect with your pay check. He isnt getting what he deserves so he wants out. He definantly cant shock the puss on TR but he can make a living there so he is gonna mind his Ps and Qs there. |

:p :p :p
Couldn't agree more. He made a mistake in signing with Sirius and wants out. Plain and simple. He feels like he is wasting his time on Sirius and is tired, burned out and frustrated. Why work 4 extra hours for what he feels is for not? He said it today when he said he wishes he could still be napping and wishes to get fired - instead of doing his Sirius show - its a shame but I dont see him on Sirius past Memorial Day. |

| I haven't listened to Bubba since early January and I don't miss it. I check in here from time to time to see if there are any stories or new pics of his wife. I feel he's "worked" us a few too many times and I don't believe anything he says now. Stern is getting a little old now that we're at Sirius but his show is like an old habit. We have Adam Carolla on the west coast and he is great! The trick for me is the fucking POSCAST I put on my IPOD. I download all kinds of different shows........i know, blah blah blah........i'll shut up now. |

Bubba's master plan: Sign with Tampa/Jax for three years to sync up with Howard's deal, get Cox to syndicate him by next year. When his deal with Cox is up, Cox and Sirius will fight over him for the morning slot.
Learn how to work. |

I rarely listen to Howard anymore. To boring with the same shit over and over again. |

Exactly. In addition the Sirius audience helps him move more merch and drive traffic to bubbaraw. That merch is absolutely crazy markup. When a band makes a CD they have to recoup the cost of recording the CD and their instruments and their van for driving around their equipment as well as the cost of the blank CD and hope that there is some left to call profit. Bubba sells old CD's that the radio station already paid Manson to create using the radio station's equipment, so the cost is the $1.50 it costs to buy a blank CD and glue a label to it, the rest is all profit. |

| I definately don't blame him for being pissed they showed him no money but he does still have fans that care to hear the show. We pay our money to Sirius they just don't want to pay him. It really sucks... |

| I think Bubba knows he signed a shitty contract, but I think he signed with the hopes that the merger would go through and that certain Irish management would be shuffled into a different position within the new company. But I also think that Bubba isvery similar to Artie in that he is loyal to his fans to a fault. I think Bubba really got off on the fact that he is nationwide and has a new core of listeners which in turn may be valuable when it comes to terrestrial syndication. Let's face facts, when Bubba leaves Sirius he'll have fans in almost every market that a brand new show would never have. |

Yea, fuckin Bob Levy misspelling fuckin words for 4 hours would be a real treat huh? Levy said sunday that the MM show is the ONLY other show besides Howard that gets non-stop laughs. What a shithead! The only time Levy made me laugh is when Artie rips him apart.

Oh yeah?
How is that happening?
Every month they get more listeners & if the merger goes through even more
His guest immediately shoot to the top of Google trends & its widely known that going on his show means more to comedians (as far as tix) than any other show
Just look at a mediocre comic like Artie being the second highest paid comic after Dane Cook |

AAAAANNNNDDD, the only funny bone in his body is when I fuck him in the ass | I just re-read my post. Let me be clear, I don't want MM INSTEAD of Bubba. There is no live show on Friday mornings...sorry for the confusion. I'd bet that Levy probably was just playing that up for the audience. I don't think he thinks MM is better than Bubba and Ferrall...at least I hope not. |

My thoughts are:
He wanted to stay at Sirius full time, but $$ wasn't enough. Fine, I don't blame him for doing a 2nd terrestrial show.
Just don't COMPLAIN about it later. Bubba knew what he was getting into. Please just make the best out of your time left at Sirius.
The loyal fans will follow you (however they can if they don't live in range of his FM show). |

| Bubba knew what he was getting into and I'm sure there's a master plan behind all this. |

Problem for me is that it isn't making for good radio right now. Master plan or not, he's starting to sound like the Howard that I stopped listening to on his last year of terrestrial radio. I applaud him for doing what it takes to make the show go on, but its starting to sound like a Bubba telethon with all the talk about the extracurricular stuff they do to make cash. |

He should have listened to his best friend Hootie "We all make our own deals". Within the year he will be off of Sirius and banned from testilce radio by the FCC, he'll be lucky if he can be the towel boy at his gym. Enough of the crying.....................MAN UP BABY BUBBA. |

| When Blubber leaves there will be room for the who gives a shit channel, then there will be a new number 2 show on Sirius following the west coast feed of Howard. |

At least I can listen to Bubba's new priority, his morning FM show, via the net.
Just gotta get the internet stream working on my Windows Mobile phone to listen in the car too. Then I'll be all set. |
