The guy may be a dick, but he's never had any issues with NCAA violations and he has one of the highest graduation rates in the nation.
If I was a father and had the opportunity, I would hope that my child would have played for him. |

| he may be very controversial and hated by most, but I could never understand why his graduation rates weren't praised and acknowledged by more people. with the modern day, pampered superstar high school basketball player just taking up a roster spot for a couple years til he is NBA eligible athlete, Knight brought kids in tought them the fundamentals and made them do what they were thre in the first place for, an education. but then again, this is why college athletics is so fucked up with to begin with. it's a shame that an outstanding collegiate coach will be remembered for throwing a chair across an arena floor and getting in the face of referees. |
