Its always the "big" schools with the national following in the magazines that are at the top. They are the ones that buy those recruiting magazines. Not suprised ND and bama at the top. Miami aint gonna sell any mags. Suprised UF is that low. |

| I am very biased considering I am an Irish fan, but this is the most impressive class I think ND has had in a long time. They seem to have focused a little bit more on defense and with the addition of Tenuta as defensive coordinator I feel they will be much better. |

| When Pryor visits Oregon it will be all over. Once he sees their facilities he will not want to go anywhere else. With the Nike sponsor they have a great football facility. |

The Mountaineers may get Devon Lyons to join his brother Wes next season as a transfer and be eligible immediately (2008 season) due to an NCAA hardship rule in regards to their father's condition.
I hope his paperwork gets approved because I'd like to see the kid enjoy playing again (especially with his younger brother). |

That would be awesome. We also got Pat White brothers from Alabama. He is suppose to be a very good recruit also.

ND is not always at #1 or #2 in recruiting and in fact prior to Weis didn't have a back to back top 5 class in something like 10 years depending on what site you look at. This class for ND is absolutely top 5 and to be honest within the top five it's up to the person making the list to decide where the emphasis is placed....
Bama with Julio Jones is hands down the #1 class in the nation.
This list is from Scout.com and where ND ranked in terms of recuiting class but I'm sure you don't want facts to get in the way of a good ND bashing
2008 = 2
2007 = 11
2006 = 5
2005 = 27
2004 = 30
2003 = 5 (but 5 of the 21 players transfered)
2002 = 13 |

Rivals is probably the best service for ranking classes followed by Lemming and Scout.
ESPN inflated the rankings for those who played in the under armour game and admittedly didn't see all the players they ranked in game situations....Scout, and rivals have

A ton of the SEC schools over sign so the real rankings will come out in September when we find out of these kids who/how many will actually pass admissions.
Bama won't enroll all of those kids and historically there are 10 or so teams that won't enroll anywhere from 1-14 kids due to them being retarded. |

| This shows you how much stock you should place in recruiting. One list has Clemson at #2, another list doesn't even have them in their top 10. Same with Florida. It's the most overrated thing in the world. |

You haven't heard 1 negative thing out of Miami since Shannon took over a year ago. He brought the hammer down on this program. No more names on the jerseys, player curfews, grade requirements. Basically if you fuck up you're off the team. And the players have bought into it. It's now all about team. This no longer "thug" U. That distinction now goes to either Penn St or Tennessee. |
