john furguson jr happened to the team.
mats clearly said he doesn't want to leave. but the new gm cliff fletcher, who initially signed sundin in '94, has a personal relationship with mats so he will probably talk him into leaving the team.
so yeah, mats will probably agree. which in the long end might be better for him and the team.
right now it's 3 weeks before the trade deadline, expect some big news from the leafs. |

Since last winning in 67, the team has only been decent for 6 seasons.
