The Dolphins released nine players Monday, including Trent Green, Marty Booker, and DT Keith Traylor.
The new sheriffs in town (Bill Parcells and GM Jeff Ireland) aren't wasting any time. Green hopes to play football again, but hasn't received medical clearance. He could resurface in Baltimore or St. Louis as a backup. Booker is still a solid pro; he was just overpaid. Other released 'Phins include T L.J. Shelton, T Anthony Alabi, T Joe Toledo, T Marion Dukes, and DT Marquay Love.

After a much publicized divorce of teammate Zach Thomas' sister, Dolphins Jason Taylor has been seen schmoozing around Miami with Sarah Traylor, sister of Keith Traylor.
Katina Taylor, Thomas' sister, filed for divorce from the Taylor during this summer. The Taylors married in 2001 and have three children.
Initially, both Taylor and Thomas said the divorce would not be a distraction to the team but the newly founded relationship with Sarah Traylor has caused a stir that her older brother, Keith, is not happy about.
"I like Jason. I respect him as a football player but what does he think this locker room is, 'Love Connection?'" Traylor asked angrily. "First he's sacking Zach's sister, now mine?"
Dolphins head coach Nick Saban denies the Taylor-made love triangles have had anything to do with the team's 1-6 record.
"It makes us one big family if you think about it. How many teams can say their defensive end is divorced from the linebacker's sister and is dating the defensive tackle's sister?" Saban said. "Personally, I've had my eye on (special teams coach) Keith Armstrong's sister for some time now." |

Beck isn't the answer either. He is like 30 years old and in my opinion a backup at best. They need to draft Matt Ryan or trade down. |
