| He is a arrogant overrated loudmouth clown. G-Men are better without him and he is just a cancer in the locker room to boot. |

It is a crime he is getting a superbowl ring!
The Giants would be idiots to let that guy take the field for them next year. Get rid of him, you already proved you dont need him to win. Boss is more then capable of filling the role! I think he could fetch a 2nd rounder , and that would be worth it! |

| He is a "name" player so he could generate more than he is worth. But ESPN is saying the Giants will NOT Actively shop him and THAT is a HUGE Mistake because he is a cancer in the locker room. |

| Eli isn't the same QB when Shockey is playing. |

Eli was forcing balls to him earlier this year.
If they get value for him, why not?
If they keep him, that's not bad either.
The key part of the equation is that Eli was maturing at the end of the season. |

Newsday's Bob Glauber said on ESPN Monday that the Giants are unlikely to actively shop Jeremy Shockey this offseason.
Glauber pointed out that the Giants value Shockey's blocking just as much as his playmaking ability, and Kevin Boss isn't nearly as polished in the run game. Shockey is also relatively cheap. He probably isn't going anywhere unless the Jints are offered a first- or high second-round pick. |

| We will and should keep him, he is a weapon on offense. You don't think he noticed they won without him? I expect him to pout less next season. |

You think he would even wear that ring? I doubt Bledsoe wears his... |

| I don't think the Giants missed a beat without him. I would definitely put him in the overrated/arrogant category. Trade him for a first or second round pick and keep developing Boss. |

I guarantee you he will be sporting that ring in the clubs in Miami and NYC. |

| I am with Scot on this. I think it's coincidence that Eli got better as the year went along. Who really knows though? Maybe he can't stand the guy. The G-men have him signed until 2011 and the main reason I would support a move like this is the fact that he's not been a healthy an entire season since we got him. For two years it was the fucking toe, now the leg. That, could be a trend. |

| He is a great football players and a top 5 player at his position, al of the complaints we hear are from reports and not players. I dont think they will get great value for him no matter what they do.. 2nd rounder at best |

| Boss seemed to be solid for them all year with out the big fucking mouth you get in Shockey, if he wasn't injured it'd be the time where they could get the most value outta him, could probably still get a maybe a 2-3 Round pick for him big if on the 2nd rounder. Solid TE's are hard to comeby in the NFL. |

They won a Superbowl without him.
Trade him and pick up someone in the draft who can develop a rapor with Eli.
The guy is a loudmouth ego maniac. |

They'd be lucky to get a 4th rounder for him. He is coming off a broken leg that no one has any idea if he going to be ready for training camp.
Not to mention his problems with attitude doubtful anyone is calling the Giants anytime soon. |
