Will HTV still be around in the years after?

No. It's a miracle it's still around now. How many people want to pay $13.99 a month for one channel when they can get 10 channels of HBO for just $9.99? Only die hard Stern fans subscribe to HTV. And even they won't want it after he retires and there's no new content. Who wants to pay $13.99 a month for a channel of repeats?

I think that Howard TV will be gone as soon as Howard retires (if not sooner).

What Im keeping my hopes up for though is someone like Cinemax, HBO, Showtime, etc, buys the rights to all the old shows. So we can still see the old uncensored episodes.

Or maybe I should start recording more episodes. :be:

I say Howard can keep on making money if he sells DVDs of the shows. Like the best of and different themes and DVD extras. Maybe the way the guy sells the Girls Gone Wild DVDs , do long commercials.

agreed.

and hopefully when howard leavs sirius, he gets some sort of talk show gig on network TV (possibly along with doing occasional shows at sirius). that's probably the only outlet where he'd be given a HUGE contract.

either way, there won't be any need for HTV.

I've Had HTV For About 8 Months And I'm On The Verge Of Canceling. When Howard Heads To Florida Full Time, It's Over Johnny!
