That's half the fun of the Eric the Midget calls lately is when Fred plays that evil alien QUACK QUACK sound clip from "Mars Attacks" -- but they're all cut out!!

Is HTV really going to get sued for playing a half-second clip??? :puzzled:

There's no point in even bringing this up any more. Goodstein will selectively remove things he thinks are illegal when we all know the copyright is ALL owned by Howard including the music.

We must continue to voice our dismay, or we will have lost. :ps:

Yeah, what a buzzkill. I noticed they didn't even bother putting the Eric/Kendra Valentines Day segment up on HTV. Good riddance, that bit would have sucked without the "quack quack". Oh well, I was pissed about all that until I saw the Beetlejuice meets Gilbert segment they just posted. Now that's good HTV! Fucking hilarious!
Rev10
that is just absurd, wow
EVIL PENIS
That sound drop kills me. Fred cannot play it enough. I like the second to last set of quacks when it goes a little higher in pitch. Does anybody know where to get that sound byte? I've been searching but can't find the exact same one.

Does anyone know kendra's last name??

Is kendra rossi by a chance?

During the 'Eric Quits' episode, the Martian drop is used.

I understand the music being cut out because HTV would have to pay for the rights to play 99% of the music they play on The Show (although you'd think the HTV budget could stand to keep one of these songs every now and then but... :dontknow: )

All these drops being cut out on the other hand, is bullshit.

I dont understand how any of these copyright laws work. So does Howard have to pay for playing clips from everything from The View, the Oscars, NFL, ABC news, etc.....

but on Howard TV they can't? not that it really matters that much, but it's weird they can afford rights for one thing but not another. Even the Flo-Rida HTV episode had cheesy fake music put in, even though they play the song so much on the show.
tman6800
Well I think they have the right to play the clips on the radio for news purposes and such but to replay it on TV its being used as entertainment. This is just a guess I would like to know if I am close. :D
Hurricane Mark
i can hear them being played over the headphones in the studio

Doug doesn't understand the copyright laws is the problem so he cuts everything to cover his ass.
