| I have a good friend who is Serbian, and talking to him, I get that this Kosovo situation is another one of those old, old grudges that neither side will ever really get over, I mean, they talk about shit that happened in 1389. It's a big fuckin mess. |

Yeah. It goes back to the Battle of Kosovo which was the last attempt to stop Turkey from invading Europe. They lost. Interesting that Serbian army helped Turkey defeat Christians in the last crusade years later. |

King Lazar (who fell in the battle of Kosovo) had a daughter who married Ottoman Sultan. Her brother helped his new brother-in-law defeat Christians in modern day Bulgaria in the last Crusade.

The Father is killed. The daughter marries the victorious King and her brother helps him. I'm sure it was what the daughter and son of the King wanted. Aren't you sure?... yep, sounds like you are.

It's hard not to look at the past when the past is so present. Serbian churches burned to the ground in Kosovo. Serbs cleansed from Kosovo. Sounds just like the past.
It's is only the ignorant who dismiss the past.
We went to Kosovo and took the side of a centuries old enemy. We gave them a victory they could not achieve on their own.
I guess we will see Christian suicide bombers and Christians slamming planes into buildings, if Christianity is just like Islam. |

My recommendation is easier, go get a map. Find Bulgaria.
Christians were defending themselves from Islamic Jihad. Defense against what the Serbs enjoyed, life as dhimmi's. Fighting a force that had occupied parts of Europe for the spread of Islamic control. |
