STUTTERING DICKHEAD
Stuttering John was on Adam Corolla and was pretty shitty / disrespectful. It's his angle that Howard should have shared his own money with him even though he was paid by KROCK. (shared the wealth)
- Was John out of line or was Howard being overly sensitive?
- Is Corolla to blame? Was he a dick or just doing his job?
- Did his Bubba appearance help or dig him deeper?
- Isn't he being a douche considering that he used to pocket the majority of the Stuttering John Comedy Tour money?
- Have you ever heard anyone say john sold out? I've heard them say he's the luckiest person in the world or that there's no way he deserves his spot on the tonight show but I've never heard anything like he sold out.
- What all did Howard do for this ingrate?
- David Height is working on a Stuttering John spotlight but john won't do it unless he gets a free spot for his movie ran once an hour. He told Tim he was appalled that they would ask him to be a part of the spotlight for free but he back peddled on Bubba. Who do you believe?
- Stuttering John makes it sound like Howard begrudged him for moving on to bigger & better things. Though Howard may have acted that way with other people who left, was he ever that way with John? Who has he talked shit on for leaving?
- John also acted like Howard gave him shit for doing side gigs. Though we've heard Howard go thru this raps with various staff members, in john's case, wasn't it justified? What are some of the examples of times that John just went too far?
- With the Gary Garver interviews today & Stuttering John all week we might as well compare the two. Who's celeb interviews do your prefer & why? What were your favorite ones?

GETTING ON THE SHOW: Each week I start a roundtable brainstorming thread where the fans help build our topics and a listening thread where people discuss the show while it's happening. if you'd like to do the show, get in there and participate. once you've been around for awhile ask to be on the show and pick a date. there's a schedule posted in every brainstorming thread.
GUESTS OF THE SHOW: The show airs from the Sirius studios in NYC Times Square. It's on the 36th floor of the McGraw Hill building on the corner of 49th & 6th in studio 21. Guests should be there at 6PM so we can do mic checks. The show goes live at 7PM. You can not bring any friends. our studio is very small and there's really no place for them. I'll need your full name in advance and you need to bring your ID for security. If I don't put you on the list and you don't have your ID, you will not be able to get in.
This is an office and you are expected to be on your best behavior. It's not some free for all party. You shouldn't do anything that you would do when stopping by the bank. You cannot bring alcohol, take off your clothes, make noise, or bother people. I know you are a Stern fan but we're not out at the bar. You need to be cool. Don't stop them and ask for an autograph or photo. Everytime one of you misbehaves, I get a new rule to follow.
You CAN NOT walk around Sirius. You will be escorted from the upstairs lobby to the studio and back out. Do not take it upon yourself to just walk around & check things out. Nobody is allowed to stop by other shows. DO NOT stop by Ferrall's studio under any circumstances even if you think it's OK. I've been told by management that it's not. If you'd like to be a guest on Ferrall, they need to put you on their guest list.
You may take photos in the studio but please do not take pictures in the halls or lobby.
DO NOT sign the wall.
All plugs must be approved in advance. If you are going to be on the show and you have something to plug, you need to let me know the day before. ANYONE WHO PLUGS A WEBSITE OR BUSINESS WITHOUT PERMISSION WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK. |

Levin, who shares a home in Los Angeles with his boyfriend, a chiropractor, seems an odd choice to run a catty online news operation devoted to the comings and goings of people barely old enough to drink. At 57, he could almost be the grandfather of Perez Hilton, the celebrity blogger whom TMZ executives cite as one of their top competitors. Levin's staff of 25 reporters and videographers, which has now grown to roughly 80 with the launch of the TV show, is mostly made up of twentysomethings. He credits them with keeping him up-to-date, but gripes that when he brought up Bob Newhart at a recent staff meeting, he was met with blank stares.

| There is a topic I would like to see explored. Lately I've really been wondering who all the people involved in these fiascos we've been dealing with lately. For example the ETM and Kendra thing that whole thing this morning sounded like a really really bad soap opera with a weak ending. Yes we all knew it was BS and I had ETM pegged as a player a month ago. but how deep does it go? Could Howard himself have orchestrated it thinking that's what we want. maybe it is but god I hope not. Really though he sounded as rehearsed as the rest this morning Kimmel included. If hes staging shit for entertainment, cool, but try a little harder. |

I think a discussion of Friday mornings should be a topic as it was touched on during today's Wrap Up Show by Gary and how the old Friday Show was hammered by the fans.
I believe Master Tape Theater HAS TO GO, and while I prefer a Friday show type format with Live people talking about the weeks guests and segments with clips and everything, I'd even settle for a Mammary Lane format where it's a bunch of show segments all clipped together. This stuff about playing entire versions of old shows just isn't very interesting.
I think Gary has got to realize that people weren't used to not having Howard live on Friday's when the Friday show debuted, so they lashed out because they were mad that Howard was off, and they would have lashed out at anything or anyone.
Enough time has passed, and I think the fans would welcome the return of the Friday show in some capacity, either with the old staff, or with the people who are working Fridays, such as Richard, Sal, JD, and others. Actually, it might be a better show, and could stimulate some Monday material for the gang like the Wrap Up Show already does.

the only one who potentially gets better guest is greg and the answser is simple, he's in Hollywood and the show is 9PM their time. getting someone famous to drop by after dinner or drinks is alot easier than having them get up at 6AM in NYC. |

i don't think greg gets BETTER guests though. he gets BIGGER NAMES. ray romano is a famous name and all, but i don't think hes that interesting a guy. its the only time greg's show has been ignored by me since he got it really going. what would howard talk about with ray? no sex stuff, hes a married guy with kids. no hard luck stories or anything. the guy would be a bore on the stern show. he's probably good with greg or in other places, but for the stern show?
but you make the other point that i agree with and its that having a west coast show has great advantages for celebrity bookings and comic talent. its one of the big reasons i'd love to see an afternoon drive show based out of la. i've always thought that if they could invest in talent, they should drop bubba and spend that money on a guy like carolla. maybe greg could work, but hes never proven himself as a multi-hour host. |

I know he is a VIP ,but when it comes to trashing loyal listener's and SFNers that spend there valuable time here posting our thoughts, and to let that slide is a sin and frankly a slap in the face. I for one believe this is unacceptable. We need you to make a stand and show that NO ONE is immune to the hate that go on for US the loyal few.

Most cable systems put Howard TV on right next to the adult channels.
The porn star appearances are to bump subscriptions to Howard TV.
There's really no other explanation at this point.
They certainly aren't scintillating interviews. |
