| Don't try to jerk off during your live draft. You may miss your turn as those draft selections can go by quickly. Put your dick back in your pants and jerk off afterward. |

Jack Cust is a good late round pick.
He might hit 30 + hrs this year. Low Avg, high OPS, lots of Ks |

i picked up cust in the last round of my first draft this year |
|
|
| Apoc13 |
| i would avoid the redsox on alang's list...pedroia is a one category guy, avg...and that's assuming he hits as well as he did last season.....ellsbury would be a decent pick if crisp is traded...otherwise they may take some time on the field from each other...and buchholz is going to be limited this year in innings, so even if he pitches well it wouldn't be for more than 150 innings |

I would also avoid Escobar of Atlanta. A lot of experts think last year may have been a fluke and he may hit pretty low in the order. At any sign of trouble from him he may lose his spot to Lillibridge who Atlanta can not wait to have play SS. I really look for Teixeira to have a big year in Atlanta.
Draft high on positions that do not have a lot of talent. For example 2B is always pretty weak so an Utley's value is really high. Same with Catcher. Get those top notch guys at those positions early. Most of the other positions have up to 8 guys that can get you equal value. |
|
|
| A.Lang=Crazy |
| All the guys I posted are sleeper guys in the later rounds that could pay off big time if they work out. None of the guys listed will go in the first 10 rounds. |

2B isn't thin this year. Guys like Kinsler, Weeks, and Kendrick are really falling. And Utley, Phillips, Upton, Roberts, Cano, and Chone almost always go in the top 60.
SS is, however. If you miss out on tier 1 (Reyes, Hanley, Rollins), Jeter is pretty good value in Round 4-5. Tulo is pretty solid in that 2nd tier, too, if needed. I actually got Furcal in rd 12 earlier tonite, and thought that was good value. I'd advise taking one of those three in the mid 1st round instead of Cabrera, Johan, or Holliday. |

i wouldnt consider Howie Kendrick, Ian Kinsler and Hunter Pence sleepers. theyre actually solid players in their postiions considering last years stats and this years projections. i like pence a lot, but yeah, wouldnt draft them in the first ten rounds |

Their not sleepers for guys that know fantasy baseball, but for the average fan I doubt they know any of those guys besides maybe Pence. |

| just go to espn.com and print out their cheatsheets if youve never done this before. |

| KingOfAllWhites |
| ALC< when do you start drafting pitchers? Have any good theories... |
|
|
| A.Lang=Crazy |
| I usually take two top hitters like Utley then Soriano or something then two top pitchers like Beckett then Hamels. Pitching is harder to find though, but I wouldn't take any closers till guys like Corpas and Soriano are about to be taken. You can always find closers that come out of nowhere and get 30 saves if you check the waiver wire alot. |
|
|
| KingOfAllWhites |
| cool, you going to be on SFN tonight..like 9pm est ish? |
|
|
| A.Lang=Crazy |
| I doubt it. Just remember those sleepers and grab Soto at catcher he will be a stud by the end of the year. |

Looks to me like you are pretty solid. I like the team. I agree with A Lang. Soto will be a stud. |
|
|
| A.Lang=Crazy |
| Got a decent squad though I don't like Roberts that much. How many teams are in your league? I would look to get better SP as you’re relying on alot of young guys to produce. I would try to deal Ramirez for a top SP as you can put Fields and Longoria at 3b and play whoever is hot that week. |

I dont love Roberts either but you know second base has very slim picking. I had the 12th pick so Utley was gone before I eve got my first pick.
I like that Ramirez for a SP idea, I might throw it out there! |

Your team sucks, bro. Where are the SV and SB??? 1 closer? And you only have 2 (at most) .300 hitters and a very poor OF. Hughes/Bondy is a poor SP3/SP4 combo. I'm guessing you'll get 10th place unless you score a big trade or WW move. |
