Wow, very nice. I had no idea that ratings came out now. Any time I can hear about MJ getting buried is a good day.

Where can the arbitron ratings be found? All I saw on their site was the fall 07 quarter, and I have no idea how to read it.

Never thought I'd be so excited about the show which is kind of competing with "our" show doing so well. Awesome on them!!!!!!

Hey Sirius, you listening? Maybe after running these guys off, you can hire the midget.

Arbitron is pretty cagey about their ratings... they don't want the average joe to read too much into them. Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater is the #19 market in the country (between Nassau/Suffolk NY and St. Louis MO) and has a potential listener base of 2,350,000 population of 12yrs+.

Bubba's station (Cox affiliate WHPT) went from a "w07" (oldest book, winter of 2007) to "f07" (newest book, fall of 2007) with a rise in ratings from a 2.1 share to a 2.5 share. These things are always tricky to read, and many stations can say "we're number one" by how the numbers are viewed.

In reality, WHPT-FM is rated at 17th overall in that radio market, with the top spot actually belonging to WDUV-FM, which is billed as "soft adult contemporary. They received a 9.4 share overall, but they're going in the wrong direction, as they started off the w07 period with an 11.3 share.

Arbitron ratings are tricky, at best.... but pretty fair indicators of how a station is doing overall and (most importantly) which direction they're headed.

GREAT JOB BOYS!!!!!!
