I do understand the meaning of the word "Arab". Your map shows the "Arab world", what part of that don't you understand?
Israel is the historical homeland of the Jews. Just like Arabia is the historical homeland of the Arabs.
Land is always taken and given to another. Look at all the Jewish refugees from Arab countries. They had places to live and probably some property. We don't care about that. That gets in the way of what we want to know and base our "opinions" on.
Our world is balkanized, not so much the U.S., but we are getting there, but there is a Germany... A Poland, an Italy. People do have homelands. Indians have India. Do you see a pattern yet?
The Jews have Israel and they have defended it.
Our support does not guarantee their survival. We could not do that. We support them by treaty, the Camp David Accords. The same with Egypt. We support Egypt by treaty.
