- Jay Thomas sat in with Shuli & Madison last week and the fans all said thank god there's finally something live on in the morning BUT is it the right show for that timeslot?
- Did you enjoy it? Should Jay be back? How often?

- Was it better than Mastertape theater? Which did you listen to?
- Would you rather that they bring back the old Friday Show?
E-RATINGS
- Howard's fans have spoken and it seems they don't like him. He's considered creepy while Artie & Gary are funny. How can the fans rate the King this way?
- Do you agree with the results of Goodstein's survey?
- Do you think it got under Howard's skin?
- Howard says he's had it with the fans on SFN, the survey, & in the mail. Have things gotten too negative or do people always like to bitch? What's the problem?
My take on it, since 90% of the people knew Howard but only 12% knew Artie & 8% knew Gary. It seems to me the 12% who knew Artie & Gary are Stern fans. They probably had positive stuff to say about Howard Artie & Gary. The other 78% of people who knew Howard but not Artie or Gary must not really be fans. Thus all the negative shit. If they realized Artie & Gary were on the Stern Show, they'd have probably talked shit on them too.

CALLING INTO THE SHOW: When calling into the show, there's no need to give shout outs to SFN or your friends on SFN. We don't have a ton of time so please don't waste any of it. We already have topics setup. Please be a good caller and respond to the topics. Thanks 1-888-STERN-101
GETTING ON THE SHOW: Each week I start a roundtable brainstorming thread where the fans help build our topics and a listening thread where people discuss the show while it's happening. if you'd like to do the show, get in there and participate. once you've been around for awhile ask to be on the show and pick a date. there's a schedule posted in every brainstorming thread.
GUESTS OF THE SHOW: The show airs from the Sirius studios in NYC Times Square. It's on the 36th floor of the McGraw Hill building on the corner of 49th & 6th in studio 21. Guests should be there at 6PM so we can do mic checks. The show goes live at 7PM. You can not bring any friends. our studio is very small and there's really no place for them. I'll need your full name in advance and you need to bring your ID for security. If I don't put you on the list and you don't have your ID, you will not be able to get in.
This is an office and you are expected to be on your best behavior. It's not some free for all party. You shouldn't do anything that you would do when stopping by the bank. You cannot bring alcohol, take off your clothes, make noise, or bother people. I know you are a Stern fan but we're not out at the bar. You need to be cool. Don't stop them and ask for an autograph or photo. Everytime one of you misbehaves, I get a new rule to follow.
You CAN NOT walk around Sirius. You will be escorted from the upstairs lobby to the studio and back out. Do not take it upon yourself to just walk around & check things out. Nobody is allowed to stop by other shows. DO NOT stop by Ferrall's studio under any circumstances even if you think it's OK. I've been told by management that it's not. If you'd like to be a guest on Ferrall, they need to put you on their guest list.
You may take photos in the studio but please do not take pictures in the halls or lobby.
DO NOT sign the wall.
All plugs must be approved in advance. If you are going to be on the show and you have something to plug, you need to let me know the day before. ANYONE WHO PLUGS A WEBSITE OR BUSINESS WITHOUT PERMISSION WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK. |

I don't know which question this would fall under, but I loved Richard Lewis, enjoyed Bob Schimmel, Riley Martin in studio with Stern anytime, Amy Fisher. Wyclef was nice. Can't wait for Jimmy. Ivy and Benji live works for me, because I just don't believe any of it.

| I would like to see a little support for "Eve the Queefer." They opened the six oclock news with her arrest story last night on our local NBC affiliate. I think Victoria Block gave a fair report without being judgemental. They had a cameraman in her apartment and she held up the various outfits she was going to model and none of them appeared lewd or improper to me. "Eve" didn't try to deny anything. She most certainly did not come across as a bimbo in her explaination of how things happened as the Boston Herald had reported. I shudder to think of all the things I've done in my life that in hindsight I now know were exercises in bad judgement. I hope they don't just punish her for our desire to have her perform outragious stunts on the Stern show. Best wishes for "Eve the Queefer." |

Have you guys discussed the SFN poll results on this topic on air? I know that it is only a few hundred people, but I think SFN is fairly representative of Stern Nation as a whole. And maybe you could suggest they do a poll about this on howardstern.com if they don't trust the validity of the SFN demographic. Other than that, I don't know, but I think the more that Howard hears about people demanding a live Friday show, the better chance we have of it happening. If we let the issue lie, my feeling is that Howard will decide he may be better off leaving "well enough alone". :dontknow: |

| I think a friday show should be more of a gimmicky thing. I think it should be an extension of the show somehow, or even something Howard can goof on the rest of the week. Jay thomas is the type of guy to try out,if Howard was gonna walk away after his contract and didn't wanna leave sirius with no established talent. |

| I wouldn't mind giving JD a 1 time shot at a show to see how it goes. But, it looks like only the Monday 7pm slot is open for these shows. Get rid of Jackie's show to open up another slot. Who decides who gets these 1 hour shows and how often they air? I think it is time for another John the Stutterer show with all this Spitzer news. How about a Scott DePace show to talk about the election, or a Lisa G show to talk about dating. I wouldn't mind a King of All Blacks show either. He did a show for Howard TV last year about drinking beer and picking up ladies that I thought was pretty funny. Of course the host of these type of shows are only going to be as good as the callers that call in to the show with Stern type questions and comments. |

I emailed "Electric Eel Man" when I did the show. We went back and forth for like a week. He wouldnt say shit about shit. The final thing I got from him was a simple, "The calls are 100% real"
Which I found interesting considering I worded the emails I sent to him in a way that gave him an easy out. Asking if the phone calls listed on his site were paid actors or booked guests he discovers.
His response simply saying "the calls were real" makes me think its phony.
As ridiculous as it is that they are most likely paying this douche to setup these silly plotted phone calls. It really isnt a wonderful topic for the SFRT. This is something someone from the SHOW itself needs to speak on.
But that being said I think that archived page there that was floating around is pretty damning evidence. Especially because it was taken down for a reason yet to be explained.
The question at this point is almost beyond whether or not it is fake. The question is will the SHOW ever speak about it? Whether its fake or not. They can plead the fifth so as to not self-incriminate |

A reunion without either of them knowing. Lie detectors always work. You know what would be great.. is a kind of people court. With Howard as judge, and the jury could be the balance of the fabs, settling squabbles like Danny and Johnny Fair. I'm sure they could find sponsors. Dana would be a great guest. Artie's mom. I love boob jobs paid for, by being chained to wack packers. I want Ivy & Benji hooked up to the lie d. Sex? Age? Artie and High pitch hooked up for gay fantasy questions. Benji dating game. anybody can write a webpage & anybody can call into the show and make up a story. neither means the show sets up fake shit or approves of it. what I'm looking for is a comment from the guy saying what people are claiming. i'd settle for an email, i'd love a phoner. anything other than just people talking shit while insisting it's fact.
it's like the uncle mike guy. he has a page up that doesn't contradict with one thing that gary said but people keep going on and on like it's proof that shit is fake & the show is in on it. it doesn't say anything like that. if anything it confirms that gary told the truth.
the conspiracy theory is that the show pays for fake guests. if that was true, why is it so hard to get some proof let alone confirmation?
on top of all that, the show can't pay miserable men but somehow you believe they'd pay $500 for a shitty guest like Uncle Mike? it just doens't make sense. |

that's the weird thing. ya can't tell if he's saying they are actors and the calls are fake or if he just finds crazy people with crazy stories and books them on radio shows.
the next thing is whether or not the show paid.
here's the best I've been able to figure out. this guy finds interesting people with some crazy ass story. as far as he knows, they are 100% real. then he gets them on Howard as a regular guest or call. no money is exchanged at all. he just helps the people get on the show. then later he tries booking them on other shows using the stern show appearance on their resume. maybe he gets money from some little bullshit shows but the stern show simply doesn't need these guest enough to justify paying. they can hardly come up with prize money for games. where would they get caller money?
anyway, if that's the case, then the conspiracy that the show pays for fake calls is false.
the cache page doesn't say anything more. it might infer certain things but it doesn't say shit. it tiptoes around it. people point to it as evidence and I read it and I'm still ike, OK give me something I can use. the guys doesn't accuse howard of buying calls on that page & he doens't say the calls are fake. how is it possible proof? |

for what it's worth I was a big gallagher fan back in the days. I went to a comedy show 20 years ago to see gallagher and his brother showed up. he said he was gallagher and looked very much like him. he refused to give up the schtick the whole show. Howard on air now saying that the Gallagher interview was great. |

Mutt you gotta start with the guest booking drought topic and STAY ON IT, PLEASE (it's EASILY my biggest problem with Sirius)!! It got trampled last week by Sebastian Bach's coolass cameo. It's also a great to start it off because Bach is an example of a cool ass guest that seemingly can't get on the show and we have to listen to shakedown stripper skanks instead.
I would've taken Sebastian Bach over ANY thing they've done so far this week on the show, ANYTHING! I know they're talking about it a lil on the wrap-up show but it's just not enough analysis, it needs to be dissected to the fullest by angry fans on the SFRT. |

Yeah,it seems like Howard has no more patience with the regular callers. He entertains the annoying midget(which can be hilarious), but he tends to cut off callers who I was interested in hearing before they can even say anything. I wish he would let them say what they have to say and THEN rip them if they are tools, like he used to do. Now it seems like most phone callers are lucky to get a whole sentence out before he cuts them off with "we don't have time for nonsense" or "we have to move the show along" or some other segway into the next nothing segment. The callers(and how Howard would react to them) is what made the show to begin with and , in my opinion, can be some of the funniest parts of the day. I love the wack-pack and most of the interviews and bits, but I strongly believe he should spend more time each day taking phone calls like he did in the old days... cool |
