Prediction on Hillary/Obama race - Click HERE to go to the original thread with graphics

British author Christopher Hitchens made this prediction, which, while frightening, is fantastically worded. I just hope he's wrong.
---

Hillary is the next president, he told radio's Hugh Hewitt, because, "there's something horrible and undefeatable about people who have no life except the worship of power . . . people who don't want the meeting to end, the people who just are unstoppable, who only have one focus, no humanity, no character, nothing but the worship of money and power. They win in the end."

She can win if the super delegates vote for her... They are the smart Democrats. They have a super vote. They are the elite.

And, I can see why the Dems have them. The Dem leadership realizes that it's rank and file are not that bright. They believe the talking points and that is a problem. Because then you have a situation where decisions are not based on reality. Like the Dems saying if elected to control Congress they would end the Iraq war. End all the "bad" things Bush was doing. Then once elected they changed their tune. Because all those things were just talking points to get elected.

The Obama supporters are those who believe the talking points...

I know, I know, but you gotta admit, that's not too far from the original intent of the superdelegates.

As a democrat supporter , he hits the nail right on the head.

I'd rather see a good republican president in office than a poor democrat one.
Unfortunately repubs dont have the same sentiment and would rather the world goto to hell in a hand basket than admit defeat.

Accomplishments are things people have done to help america that they didnt NEED to do,like John Mccain taking down oil tankers that were costing america 40 million a year, Barack Obama had one of the worst attendence records in senate with 119 present's in 2 years, also he only signed off on 2 bills that accually passed, & 1 of them failed, so he signed off on 1 bill that accually went through, hes accually done less than other people in his own job which is senate.
JTProcess
So... name one of Hillary's accomplishments... anyone?
JTProcess
Seriously you fucking faggots... if you're gonig to count out bills and things done in the senate name some of Hillary's "accomplishments"

I'll start...

1 - married a guy who became governor of arkansas
2 - stayed married to the guy and then he became president

That's quite the resume.
Reed Rothchild
I don't really get what this hang up is about Obama, or any presidential candidate for that matter, "doing something". The president has to be a leader, he has to get out and sell an idea and build support for it, whatever it is (war, tax cuts, tax increases). He's not sitting in the White House at his computer writing legislation that he then takes to congress to get everyone there to sign on; he has to come up with the Big Idea, tell his staff to write it, while he goes out into the country to sell it.
JTProcess
oh oh... and

3 - Promised universal health care and then got "bought out" by the insurance industry.

Some of Obama's accomplishments for them...

1 - Studied POLITICAL SCIENCE and INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS and received a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia in 1983

2 - Director of "Developing Communities" project in Chicago - helped low income people get houses.

3 - Got into Harvard Law School in 1988

4 - Became Harvard Law Reviews first ever black president

5 - Returned to Chicago to helm a "voter registration drive"

6 - LECTURED CONSTITUTIONAL LAW at University of Chicago Law School from 1993 - 2004 (take note ron paul fans)

7 - elected to Illinois state senate in 1996

8 - elected to US senate 2004 - in 2003 Obama sought to make his early public opposition to the Iraq War before it started a major issue in his 2004 U.S. Senate campaign to distinguish himself from his Democratic primary rivals who supported the resolution authorizing the Iraq War,

9 - In 2007 became the first ever viable black US presidential candidate

10 - Made Hillary Clinton look like a stupid power hungry political hack who dodges questions in every presidential debate to date.

11 (for Obama) - Managed a very successful presidential campaign that took him from virtual obscurity to household name.

Hillary had the advantage from day one... the name recognition... the media... and Obama's STILL beating her!

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA....

if anything Obama deserves the nomination based on the success of his campaign alone... it's obvious he knows how to organize and mobilize in every state...
