My idea was to take a Classic Sirius show from deep into the past two years, lop off the wrap-up show and then do a new SFRT wrap-up with Mutt as host. That would fill 6 hours. And please don't try and tell me you remember every single Sirius show. There are some GEMS we haven't heard in years!

This would be a cost-effective solution that combines Classic Sirius shows and new live fan-based stuff.

I understand what you are saying. I dunno I guess I am not into hearing something that I heard just a few years ago. But you have a good point in keeping in mind the budget and what they have, if anything, to spend for the Friday show.

I don't have any interest in hearing and rehashing old Sirius shows. Sirius should invest in a live Friday show. I'm tired of hearing about budget issues. Programming the channels comes first. Let them pinch pennies somewhere else.

Maybe a one time for one hour. But for something permanent I don't want any half-assed, half-baked wanna-be's on the air. We have enough of those types of shows and they're pretty one sided. Funny to a degree but not for more than an hour. If I can't have Howard on Friday's then I want something as close as they can get.
i agree keep it to a 1hr show tops

The reason there is backlash among the fans now is because Howard, Robin and even Artie are less likable these days. I think the show is as funny (if not funnier) than it has ever been. But clearly, they have all lost touch with the average fan. They just do not relate to most of the fans because of their money, lifestyle and fame. Howard is only interested in going to the Hamptons, having celebrity friends and playing chess. And Robin... who's more out of touch with the common person that Robin?! For someone with virtually no talent, she has a lot of nerve to have the attitude she does.

Go back to your Crack pipe, this is bullshit. You really are saying stuff that is just stupid on the face of it and not the facts at all, just how you feel and a cockeyed opinion.

I sorry. it's not 4 apartment buildings, it's 4 apartments. he owns 2 apartments on the top floor of the building which were combined into 1 big apt. just recently bought the two below them. it's pretty safe to assume that they'll be merged into 1 giant apt. could be wrong though. mayb it's an inlaw suite.

haha..that's classic...i need to go listen to it on my ipod...is the show for charity? that is the only reason why i would think artie would even think about doing it...

or is it just Artie being too nice cuz the guy wrote him a joke before...

artie said something about it spose to be a 2500 seater then RW said it was only 500 and then asked artie to do 2 shows in a day. so he was not too happy.

because of time zone, greg couldn't do friday am.

if they let Jay Thomas do his regular 3-hour show from 6-9, then Greg could do 9-noon (6-9 am PT)

building code says you can put in a staircase between the two floors.

it's probably so his daughters will have living space when they're in NYC (so he can also keep an eye on them).

More likely a residential elevator or both.

I can't believe they blew off the whole guest booking issue topic, it's literally THE biggest thing we bitch about it. They've dicking around on that for three shows now. It's like Mutt's afraid to take it on. AND can believe I'm here with Aquillo Lucas right now????? :brotha:

I missed the show and wont be able to listen to the replay
dharmabum
bump for replay....last night was fun as always. Great to see old friends again and kerry was nice meeting you last night. you did a great job!
PapaBoner
I'm listening to the replay now, and I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks John the Stutterer should be on more especailly now with the Spitzer shit and the election. Who decides who gets the Monday 7pm slot? It seems like Chuck Zito has done at least 5 shows since Stutterer's last show. How about Stutterer on Saturday night live for 2 hours?
