Learn how to work kid, just trying to steer a bit so people DO stop complaining ... trying to get a consensus of what people think of certain segments of the show; Bubba and the crew are great, however, they are selling the audience, and more importantly, THEMSELVES short by having sub par segments that no one cares to hear. | I enjoy Bubba 199 segments, but they usually occur (or did in 2007) when something or some stunt has been shut down by corporate. But, in 2008, I imagine they will occur more frequently as they can easily fill 30 minutes or so. |

Everyday someone posts a I hate this that or the other thing, why don't you do something original and HELPFUL? Come up with some segments yourself that don't involve any crazy antics, that is edgy on a slightly above clean level, and doesn't have any anti-irish sentiment.
These are Bubba's current rules imposed onto him via Sirius because they don't want anything crazy going on that could be used against them and the merger with XM. Bubba is not selling anyone short, he is putting on a show for you roundmouths that BEGGED him not to leave Sirius the best they will let him.
So instead of bitching and moaning and nitpicking, be fucking creative and help contribute to the show on some level and come up with something interesting that firstly the SFN readers don't take a shit on then maybe suggest it to the guys.

Unless specifically asked by the big man, OUR OPINION DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER, does Bubba have some forum to goto and nitpick on the BK Stacker? Not enough bacon, it's to greesy, blah blah blah. Amen BioFUSION. No wonder this forum has come to a screeching halt. I'm glad to see that there are others who tired of all this fucking bitching. Yes there are segments I dislike, a few of them have been named. But this is the show we're going to get. Bubba does another show and Sirius has put Bubba in a situation where he can't do as good of a show, end of story. Bitching about the stuff you miss isn't going to bring it back.
Be happy you still have a fucking Bubba show to listen to. People here were ready to riot outside of the McGraw-Hill Building if Bubba didn't come back, now the supposed reason he came back according to some of you is to sell Bubbapalooza (which is a live show he's putting on for Sirius fans to potentially say goodbye) and his merch, which no one is forcing you to buy. He can't win with some people. If he left people would be bitching that he cared more about the terrestrial audience, which is the same thing people say now. I'm surprised that when Bubba reads shit like this that the prospect of leaving Sirius doesn't sound better everyday. |

In all honesty the sirius show has come to a screeching halt. Anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves.
More and more commercials, rehashed bits that take up easily 30 mins of show daily...the boyz are done. Sucks and its getting harder to listen to, hope they enjoy regular radio no doubt they sign a deal there and are done. I just hope someone posts their show from regular radio on the computer. |

1. You dont follow boxing currently, which is why you ignored my point about the surge in popularity of boxing...PPV sales, great fights..
2. Your point about the heavyweights is what? They are shitty? Everyone knows that..just like the Heavyweight division in MMA is shitty.....Fedor (who isnt fighting anyone) and who else? Nogeira, Tim " the lummox" Sylvia?
If you look at the PPVs that sell the most in Boxing and MMA its the LIGHTER WEIGHT DIVISIONS!!!!

I don't know much about MMA, so that pretty much shoots that theory ... I thought the Morales/Barrera series of fights were solid ... even Hopkins/DeLaHoya wasn't bad ... but there is no reason that the WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO, and whatever other organizations can't decide to unify their titles and get ONE decisive champion in each weight class ... instead, you get an assorted mess like we have now, and each one's trying to declare supremacy over the other ... I can't keep up with all the champions anymore, let alone most of the fighters in each weight class ... I'm just saying that the promoters have taken the spotlight off what was once a proud sport ... and its decline, IMO, began with Tyson ... remember how cerebral a fighter Hagler was?

They need to do more of it in the boxing world to build up the fighters like the UFC does with The Ultimate Fighter. |

See thats the weird thing...Im not a hater of MMA...Im a superfan of Boxing and MMA...actially I fancy myself a historian on both.
What irritates me, is the portion of MMA fans who turn it into a competition and think because they like MMA they have to hate Boxing. Or people who spew out garbage (which Dana White and MMA people produce) that boxing interest is dying or the sport is slowing down...when the oppposite is true.
Like the last 2 weekends Boxing has put on 2 Fight of the Year candidates....brutal bloody wars with guys showing guts, desire, great punching..and you wont hear about it on the show because they are so far up Dana Whites ass they see it as "competition".
I look at it as, if youre a fight fan, youre a fight fan. |
