I claim bullflop on Arties baseball stories. If he was that good he wouldve been picked up for the minors or sumthin.

Check out the Union City newspaper microfilm from 1986. Mr. All County 3rd base hitting 400?? CRACKER PLEASE!

His "all county" stories could mean anything. He talks about his athletic days, but they are no different than any of us, as all our parents made us take swimming lessons, T-Ball, etc.

The proof is in the pudding - if he was athletic during his youth, he would not be as big as he is now. His metabolism would not have allowed him to explode.

He's a liar and says things like this for his "man's man" gimmick. Don't give in to the sissy-wimp, at the end of the day, he's sitting at the edge of his bed, crying, because he's a no-talent HACK.

who really cares this affects no one personally, even if he did lie about his "baseball" days it makes good radio.
And do you always believe what you hear.
I personally believe he was good at baseball. and believe him.

Don't hate on Artie too much, every older guy "boosts his stats" about his high school playing days. It's just like a fish story, it gets larger every time...
monsterick
Just like Al claiming to be the all star quarter back at Peg's High school
