This thread is here to build the topics for this weeks Super Fan Roundtable. I could use your help. What are the hot topics this week?

It's the fight that just won't end. They can say how it's both of their faults over and over but what do the fans think?
HOWARD KILLS THE JOKE
- Howard wasn't able to stick with the April Fools joke that Ralph's now a paid member of the show via ISDN becasue Ralph was too annoying even for him. Are you pissed he didn't let the joke ride or relieved that he let you in on the joke ASAP?
- When else was the joke cut off too soon?
ISDN TEST SHOW
- If you were lucky enough to catch the surprise Monday 7PM test show, what did you think? How did it sound?
- Could they pull off a real ISDN show? What's the downside?
- Howard said how he would consider doing an occasional bonus show from home. Artie & Robin seemed to be on board as well. What could they do?
- Live from Artie's beach house game room w/ Ferrall?
- Live from Robin's beach house dock for the 4th of July?

Artie says he's not going to do the PSA & does not apologize for his statements to High Pitch Mike which offended lifebeat. Do you respect him for sticking to his guns and not letting PC America fuck up his comedy or are you disappointed that he doesn't own up for going over the line?
UPDATE - Artie did the PSA. I guess I'll have to change this topic after I hear it.
George Takei is back! How's he changed since his first time as the announcer?
Was Garypalooza a complete failure or was it fun radio anyway? Was it better than if Gary went along with everything?

Jay Thomas said that he's moving his Friday show to mornings and Bubba made mention of a new Friday deal with Tim which would keep them from going late on the AM show Friday's. Are we finally getting a new live Friday morning plan with Jay @ 6AM & Bubba @ 11A?

CALLING INTO THE SHOW: When calling into the show, there's no need to give shout outs to SFN or your friends on SFN. We don't have a ton of time so please don't waste any of it. We already have topics setup. Please be a good caller and respond to the topics. Thanks 1-888-STERN-101
GETTING ON THE SHOW: Each week I start a roundtable brainstorming thread where the fans help build our topics and a listening thread where people discuss the show while it's happening. if you'd like to do the show, get in there and participate. once you've been around for awhile ask to be on the show and pick a date. there's a schedule posted in every brainstorming thread.
GUESTS OF THE SHOW: The show airs from the Sirius studios in NYC Times Square. It's on the 36th floor of the McGraw Hill building on the corner of 49th & 6th in studio 21. Guests should be there at 6PM so we can do mic checks. The show goes live at 7PM. You can not bring any friends. our studio is very small and there's really no place for them. I'll need your full name in advance and you need to bring your ID for security. If I don't put you on the list and you don't have your ID, you will not be able to get in.
This is an office and you are expected to be on your best behavior. It's not some free for all party. You shouldn't do anything that you would do when stopping by the bank. You cannot bring alcohol, take off your clothes, make noise, or bother people. I know you are a Stern fan but we're not out at the bar. You need to be cool. Don't stop them and ask for an autograph or photo. Everytime one of you misbehaves, I get a new rule to follow.
You CAN NOT walk around Sirius. You will be escorted from the upstairs lobby to the studio and back out. Do not take it upon yourself to just walk around & check things out. Nobody is allowed to stop by other shows. DO NOT stop by Ferrall's studio under any circumstances even if you think it's OK. I've been told by management that it's not. If you'd like to be a guest on Ferrall, they need to put you on their guest list.
You may take photos in the studio but please do not take pictures in the halls or lobby.
DO NOT sign the wall.
All plugs must be approved in advance. If you are going to be on the show and you have something to plug, you need to let me know the day before. ANYONE WHO PLUGS A WEBSITE OR BUSINESS WITHOUT PERMISSION WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK. |

I had to create this account a few months ago. My real sign on, jestdoc, (see the s?), is my real account and I've passed the 30/30 deal a long time ago. Well somehow my password got fucked up and I can't sign in with that.
I created this and have asked Mutt to help me but I'm sure he gets a lot of email so no reply yet.
I am trying here again to retrieve my old sign on. When I go to have my password emailed to me is where my problem is, that email I no longer use, its done and I can't access it.
So my preferred sign on is, jestdoc and the email I want to use is nutzo1@hotmail.com or I can supply another one if you email me with the addy associated with this acct, jetdoc.

I think there is a little truth to that theory..Howard can deny it all he wants..but I think all of us have noticed a higher level of so-caled "jeweness" in Howard over the as 2-3 years..and obamas preacher only brought Howards unease to the front |

There definitely is. And you can tell Robin has been suspecting it for awhile. But not until this preacher thing came out did Stern have any specific reason to not like him. When he blamed it all on the preacher, Robin finally came out with her suspicions. |

I think the newly-weird game with Evil Dave and his improbably gorgeous "girlfriend" need to be addressed. No way that was real - it was a scam to win the 5 grand. Langford needs to follow up on those two for at least the next 6 months.
The gay backlash against Artie should be talked about. Also Arties dire diagnoses from his doctor. All fat jokes aside, it's getting very serious. It seems now even Howard is starting to tire of Arties unprofessional attitude toward the show (Robin is very up front about her disgust for Artie).
I think Boots should talk about the HPM/Artie fight and give the gay perspective. Were Artie's comments really that offensive? Should Life Beat really be returning the 10 grand raised from sales of the Artie Lange cupcake?
Maybe if there is time you can talk about the recent wack-pack troubles - Bigfoot in a mental hospital, KKK going after a young girl. Are these people really good for the show? Once they commit felonies or go crazy for real, should Howard sever all ties with them?

as for the katie / betho interview, I'm really surprised that peoepl didn't like it. I expect a shit puff piece like when Chevy Chase & his wife were on but Howard totally surprised me. He really hit her with a ton of sex questions and it was great. I really respect him for the way he handled it. additionally, I didn't understand why beth was there but hear those 2 talk was interesting. i had no idea these 2 were that close yentaing it up on the phone. it gave me a little more insite to howard's real world and I always like that.

I took more calls last week than most shows. probably 2 dozen. plus we had several calls from VIP fans. every week I get in as many calls as possible but I also have to give the people who took the time to drive into the city and do the show to speak as well. |
