Alex Bennet has been around a long time. I used to go see his show live in the 90s. He always let an audience in. In his possesion (he hasnt played it in a long time) he has an interview where a certain new guy just breaking thru on WnnnnnnnnBc says Alex was one of his influences. Alex was doing an adult (with porn stars) radio show in NY called Electric Blue when Howard was still at struggling for 86 dollars a week.
Jay Thomas is fine (as long as Shuli the hack is far far away) but Alex Bennent has been in radio or a long time and has interviewed some of the most important people in history in the relaxed format Howard made famous. He has a great interview with John Lennon and Yoko that was done in Johns bed.
