| and their on field celebrating...i love hearing the yankee fans defend joba and kill manny |

Two fucking assholes stirring up shit and making callers sound like idiots.
I used to bash Met fans for sounding so retarded, but half of it is the retarded controversy these two start. |
| Pussah2 |
| I hate those 2 idiots. Joba is a rookie who is a little too exuberant. He does need to tone it down. manny has been a retard is entire career. He watches every home run. Taking nothing away from him, he is one of the best in the game. And no nothing he does bothers me. |

Well, Joba doesn't give a pump when he walks a batter, unlike Manny who stands there like a dildo with both arms raised only to watch the ball drop in for a single or a double.
I know Joe Gi will tell his pitchers to go after Manny and I hope when Manny shows up the Yanks or any other team like that, either one of his teammates or Manny himself gets hit in the head.
As far as Joba's pumped, hit a homer off him next time you face him. Joba's celebrations are minimal compared to that dress wearing cum guzzling pussy Paps. |
| Apoc13 |
actually joba's celebration the other night was more than any celebration by paplebon, who is quite out of control himself
joba did a 360 spin, pumped his fist and then pumped his fist again
i don;t personally have an issue with any celebration....like i said, i just like seeing the yankee fans say what joba did was ok but anybody else's is over the line |
| StumpMerrill |
| I do think what Manny does is worse BUT I would like to see Joba tone it down a bit. We have been spoiled w/ Mariano but the new generation guys go a little overboard. I wish papelbon and Joba would tone it down. |
| A.Lang=Crazy |
| At least Papelbon closes the game out Joba just gets it to the 9th. |

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY YOUR A FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT. |
| DestroVega |
I have to say... I hate them talking about it, it's like, who gives a shit.
That said, Joba can tone it down a bit...
but comparing him to Manny isn't right...
Manny stands there sometimes celebrating to watch the ball be caught or hit the wall... or he stands there FOREVER... If I were a Cleveland pitcher, after his stunts during last playoffs, I would bean his ass first at-bat this year... it was ridiculous.
You have to compare Joba to other relievers... Papelbon is a little out of control, K-Rod worse... It was opening day, adrenaline pumping... if Joba is doing this next week against Tampa or KC, let's have a discussion about it. |

you like anything Yankees fans do, you're a Sox fan, you're obsessed with us. it goes w/out saying, no need to further embarrass yourself. ;) |
| LennyD23 |
| btw, Kay discussed this during the game, he takes shots at these two without saying names, that makes me giggle a bit. |

they make fun of kay all the time. Russo was ripping him and Paul O'neill the other day because he was saying he could not care less about paul O'Neill stories |

this was NEW YORK sports talk and all the NEW YORK callers talking about the joba/manny deal.....yet, this wasn;t mentioned on boston sports talk radio at all.....who is obsessed with who?
for the record i think we're both obsessed with each other |
| Pussah2 |
| russo hates the yankees and will say anything about them to get a rise out of the fans. Joba needs to tone it down. Last night he was fine. Like you said Pabelbon is basically the same way. Its a new generation of pitchers who show their emotions. |

Me neither, they are both overrated and annoying
Russo's rise in popularity happened rapidly. Russo joined WFAN in December 1988 as an overnight, weekend and fill-in host.[7] He caught the attention of former WFAN Morning Show Host, Don Imus. Imus brought Russo on-board the Imus in the Morning show as the Sports Reporter. The attention Russo received on Imus was enormous. Imus also later helped promote Russo's nickname. By early 1989, his work on Imus led to Russo getting his own regular weekend show on Saturday Mornings. When Pete Franklin's drive time Show from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. was not renewed by WFAN station management, WFAN paired up Russo with Mike Francesa, who at the time was a co-host on the mid-morning show. The show was dubbed the Mike and the Mad Dog show and was launched on September 5, 1989 at 3 p.m.
The combination paired up Francesa's hard-hitting style with Russo's unorthodox and humorous style and proved to be a huge success. Francesa and Russo's show quickly became the signature show for WFAN, as well as among the most influential sports talk shows in the country.

Your thinking of Beningo. Beningo started off as a caller and won a contest to host a show. The rest is history |
| DestroVega |
| Beningo after winning that show, went back to CT school of Broadcasting and then lobbied hard for a job, so he did do some actual work to get there. |
