Does anybody else have problems with their on demand screen freezeing up?I've been having this problem for over six months and even had to cancel my Howard TV.The cable guy and comcast cable both stated that it is a problem affecting the whole area.Whenever I call they assure me that problem will be resolved "in a few weeks".Yeah, right !I was just wondering if anybody else in South Jersey (or other areas)had any similar issues?

I am in Indy and I have trouble getting to an episode more than half the time. Most times if I try to flip between menus or screens to quickly it gives me an error message. Sometimes I get the error message regardless of how long I let it load up between screens.

All these error problems are local and have nothing to do with HTV. The best thing to do is write down the error #. Check all the boxes in your house (if you have more than one). This can determine whether your problem is box-related or outside-the-house. Then, call and ask for an On Demand technician or specialist and tell them the error #.

I have problems connecting to On Demand from time to time, especially on the one box I have in my home office. What I usually find helps is that I just uplug the box to reset it and then after a couple of minutes of being back up it will usually end up working correctly. Pain in the ass but works for me.

Same here, they need to change or add shows more often.

I have problems all the time too. and its ONLY with my HTV channel, everything else will work just fine. I had to call up the cable company yesterday, and they never know what HTV is, so I have to explain it and then they end up resetting the box on their end, which usually fixes it. of course, I cant just reset it on my end, that'd be too easy. freakin' annoying

It reminds me of the internet circa 1995. Or SFN 10:00pm PST tomorrow night.

I had HTV (Charter in MA) for 7 months early on -- It would play 65-70% of the time. The error messages and freeze-ups were ridiculous. I wanted to see the shows, so I held out as long as I could. I cancelled in frustration.

I tried again last year, and had it for about 6 months. I only have one box, but there was an extra connection that I eliminated -- Instead of connecting through an outlet in the wall, I ran the cable under a door. It stepped up to about a 90% success rate. So either they fixed something, or having one less connection helped. Updating was still a problem though...

Funny thing is, I've never had a problem with HBO or Cinemax On Demand.
