Nope, we can mud stuff, too. What are you looking for, exactly? Can you post some pics of what you've got with a description of what you want?
Baron Magrundle
actually, the top course is mortared on these walls, because she has a large dog that likes to go in the flower beds... :p

i'll take some pics early sunday morning and post them, i'm going out towards boston tomorrow, and i'm drinking right now

the little circular planter isn't done, yet. we still have to set the top course and tinker with it a little. all these pics are from last year and the year before. it has been an ongoing, ever expanding project at this lady's house. she wants me to double or triple the size of that patio and maybe put in a water garden this year....

OK, cool! I gotta log off and spend some time with my ol' lady if I wanna get laid this weekend, anyway. I'll be up early sunday and I will periodically pop in here to see what's up until then. Enjoy your food poisoning... :D

Here are some pics of a quick job we did late last fall. I normally would make it much better, but the lady was on a budget so we had limited time and materials. She is a good lady and a good customer, so I did what I could with what she had for stones and $$. We have to go back this spring and do some touching up.(add a rock and build up next to the walk with topsoil and plant grass up to the edge of it. it will look good then). It is already infinitely better than what she had...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I was looking at the before pictures of that ladies walk and thought... god damn if that is as good as you can do... you need a new line of work.

The afters are very nice...

I like that type of patio.... in the earlier pics.

lol.. Thanks! It is a lot of work, but it is work I like. You can only do it one rock at a time, so it can take a while, but it is a nice change from mowing lawns and doing shrubs, etc. I like to have a variety of work going on so I don't get sick of it... This is a type of stone native to the area I live. It is called "Goshen Stone". It is basically a type of schist that has a lot of garnet and mica in it. some pieces have some iron which will give them a reddish, rusty color. It is beautiful stuff and great to work with, but the stones are pretty $$$.

That's my man, Bill. He's a hard worker and a good man.
Here he is:

Here he is right after I ripped down part of about 3 courses he did while I was mowing a couple yards in the neighborhood. He wasn't happy, but it wasn't what I wanted and I am kind of a perfectionist when it comes to my work.

Here he is when we were building the double-faced wall:

my dog with all her gear on. Taken today. she hates other dogs, so I have to keep her on a leash when I walk her. she loves people, though, and kids...
mrspoopypants
on second thought... forget what i said about bill.

Excellent craftsmanship Baron, and I wouldn't deal with that alcoholic fuck, he's just going to dick you over.

lol! I thought you might say that... according to the ladies around here, he was pretty hot before he decided to drink himself half to death and become a black hole for drugs... when he's sober, he's one of the best rock stackers around and a hard worker... for the other 16 hours of the day, he's kind of a wreck... I try to keep him in line a little, but I can only do so much...

I'm used to it... he makes very nice furniture, though and I really would like one of his tables for my living room... I am willing to give the guy a chance. He seems like a decent dude to me. :)

You'd be surprised! :D He doesn't really discriminate when it comes to beer or women. If its there, its good.
Mutluvs70sporn
Kinda pissed me off. The guy looks like a hard worker, and like you said, good guy. But because he doesent look like Brad Pitt , she has to dog on him.

don't worry, he gets laid more than most people I know. I'm not sure why, he must have a big dong or something... he's the only guy I know that can be too drunk to tune his guitar when he gets to the bar and still go home with some chick... :D
