I guess the header says it all. But it is surprising. Isn't he the Saviour? Isn't he the single greatest most amazingly awesomest pitcher like ever???? How could anyone beat him??? Particularly the lowly Braves who have no chance against the mighty Mutts and Fillies this year.

Johan....just kidding. We luv ya buddy. Here's to many more career losses against the Braves.

7 innings and 1 run is a real bad start

Each post you make you look like an even bigger retard.

Hey Dickhead. Smoltz was better and Mutts and Santana fucking lost. Who's the fucking retard? But then you said the Braves stand no chance in the Division, right? Fucking Moron.....
A.Lang=Crazy
Braves were at home and I expected them to win. It's one fucking game and you are acting like this means anything.

He's a very good pitcher. Did ya notice Smoltz was better?

The Hype outta New York on this guy has been fucking ridiculous. The Braves are are excellent team and will win the Division. The Mutts two best pitchers went against the Braves two best pitchers. Final Score 11-5 and 3-1. Screw the hype. The Braves are the better team and proved it on the field.
KingOfAllWhites
Mbrin is right. They better team is always decided by who wins a 2 game series in April.

You got 1 run off Santana. Your acting like you got 20 hits off of him and scored 10 runs. Its 2 games big fucking deal. You don't see Rays fans posting shit threads because they beat the Yankees twice this weekend.

I agree with you. The season is over. Most series winners in April, end up winning the division. Braves are the NL east champs. Congratulations and good luck in the playoffs!!

if smoltz is so much better, why did he only go 5 innings? he threw almost 80 pitches? his whip was just as bad as santana, although he didnt allow the one run. had he gone 2 more innings like santana did, he would have sucked it up and lost the game

Nah, Brin would rather talk shit about getting one run off Santana than talk about his team finishing in 3rd place the last two years.
dave24s
You know...

If this was the Yankees with Johan starting for them and losing two games to the...say Blue Jays - same score, same line, same everything, the Yankees fans would hear about it non stop.

Any other team it's: "Two games in April doesn't matter" and "1-0, still seemed like a beast to me."

if it was the Yanks, "Johan sucks! Way to waste even more money!"

The whole "I hate the Yankees no matter what" is just dumb and annoying now. They haven't won in 8 years. They spend a lot of money and they lose. We get it, okay?
dave24s
BTW, I'm just curious. How does Johan look when he's at bat? Does he look lost or does he kinda look like he knows what he's doing?

No jokes, no insults. Just a real baseball question.

It means that the greatest pitcher in the history of the universe just got out pitched and beaten by John Smoltz and the Braves. With all the fucking hype about Santana...do you realize how sweet it is to have our ace out pitch Santana?

Wow.....the greatest, bestest pitcher ever in the universe has a losing record after 3 starts. Go Figure? Poor Johan lost in his Mutts opener. Sad.

The record so far.

John Smoltz 2-0 .82 ERA

Tim Hudson 2-0 2.14 ERA

Jorge Santana 1-2 3.05 ERA.

Poor little Jorge will run behind Smoltz and Hudson all season just like he did last year. Too bad the Mutts spent $130 million and raped their farm system on a pitcher past his prime. Even more sad.

Tiny Meat....not sure what this has to do with Jorge Santana sucking shit. :) Have fun with no farm system anymore and Jorge Santa-Douche costing $130 million. The Next Carl Pavano??? Good One!!!

All kidding aside. Maybe he can be one in a long line of great Mutts big time free agent signings. Remember Mo Vaughn? That one worked out good. How about Jeremy Burnitz? Go Jorge!!!

Thought I'd update this thread. Poor Julio Santana. Still can't beat the Braves. In 4 career starts he's 0-3 with a ND. Hudson pitched 8 outstanding innings and gave up 2 earned runs. Poor Julio took the loss again giving up the game winning hit to Chipper Jones. Sad.

Season to date: Hudson 7-3 2.97 ERA.
Santana 5-3 3.36 ERA.

Poor Julio was a distant second to Hudson last year and is being out pitched by Hudson again this year. For the record: Julio.....I feel your pain........

That's cool, we'll both keep editing this thread. You obviously will only edit when you see fit. I'll keep you honest.

BTW, those numbers you posted show that Hudson is clearly "dominating" Santana this season. His ERA is a whopping .39 better than Santana. I also recall at least two games this season where Santana left with a 2 run lead. You sure showed us. Another dynamtie post.

Stick to 14-year olds. You're much better at being creepy than you are a baseball analyst.

Another pathetic post. 2.97 ERA versus 3.36 is a big fucking difference in Baseball dillweed. 7-3 versus 5-3 is a big difference. But then tell why Santana can't beat the Braves??? Is it a mental thing???

Thats sums up his baseball knowledge. He obviously is being told .39 is a big difference from one of the little kids he is wanting to have sex with. Cause any adult would say .39 is nothing! Especially when it is May and there are 4+ months of baseball still to be played.

Just a quick update since you obviously are avoiding this thread (which ironically YOU started) like the plague since "Huddy" and the Braves aren't doing so well (shocker). In addition to the worst road record in baseball I thought I'd update this thread with some pitching stats. Looks like Santana continues to be clearly out pitched by Hudson this year...

Since your last post:

Santana: 2-0
Hudson: 0-1

TOTALS:
Santana: 7-3 (.700), 3.20 ERA, 71 K
Hudson: 7-4 (.636), 3.01 ERA, 51 K

Hudson has CLEARLY been the better pitcher this season, hands down.

Oh, and don't forget about Glavine: 2-2, 4.56 ERA, 51 IP

Every outing he has been the stopper on their bad play and has been nothing short of skid stopper yet we overpaid.

Great analysis. Probably another brin mult

Expect anything less from a guy from Princeton?

He is too busy watching cricket to know anything about baseball...

Come on mbrin_61 let's talk Santana/Hudson! Are you scared? If you don't respond to this post by the end of the day I'll take that as you admitting you are a scared little pussy. Last chance. I'll try and find some hot 13 year olds for you to gawk at and drool over while we talk baseball. Come on, whadda ya say pal? I won't bite or call the cops, I promise. :D

Looks like Jorge Santana will finish with more wins than "Smoltzy" this year. Sorry Brin, you lose again. And since you didn't respond to my above post I'll take that as you admitting you're a giant pussy. I even gave you an extra couple days. Enjoy that bullpen of yours, looks like your new closer is one and done. Maybe you can get a nice 13 year old to jerk you off while the Braves get swept buy the Phillies this weekend. :jj:

Pussy :jj:

I'm sure he will magically appear if the Braves beat the Phillies.

I think we should nickname him Houdini. :D

Those numbers clearly show how much better Hudson is than......oh wait.

Too bad this board doesn't have any Braves fans. There was one a year ago (Beet), but he got sick of the front runner Brindy and left.
