| Hahahaha .... I have both Maine and Kershaw and didn't know who to start tonight so I did what I rarely do and started two opposing pitchers and hoped for a pitcher's duel. I see they're both getting bombed and that Kershaw is out in the 4th. Typical of my season this year. |

| Tough break Hugo. I was at the game, and you were done by the time the first inning ended. Maine got lit up in the first, then the Mets got 2 back in the bottom of the first before Kershaw even got an out. He is a good pitcher, with the fucking nastiest curve I have ever seen in my life, but he is a rookie and definately was not worth my #1 waiver wire pick. It is not even June 1st, I am going to have plenty of opportunities. |

I don't know. In my league the only relief pitchers who are worth anything are closers so I don't pay attention to anybody else. If Soriano has really lost his job to Smoltz then he's worthless unless setup guys and middle relievers have value in your league. |

To me it comes down to Burnett. If you need him, they you can not make the trade. If you do not need him, then I would pull the trigger. |

It's not a terrible trade at all although Peralta isn't a great replacement for Rollins at SS. Both Uggla and Burnett are good but if you don't like the deal then don't do it. |

Oh, sorry, I got this mixed up. You're trading for Rollins. In that case, it just depends on how deep you are at pitching. If you can easily part with Burnett then it's probably worth doing. |

Not worth much. I see him ending up with a .305 15-20 HR and SB. Not worth a top pitcher like Peavy or Sabathia. Justin Upton got off to a hot start and now is in a major slump. |

| No way. Dunn is a great player, and he would be seilling him high. Tulo is a complete toss up, I know he is due to come back next month or something but still. He has no guarantees. Upton is also a good player but I do not know man. I would not do it. |

No way I would do that. Dunn gets way too many K's, Tulowitzki sucked this year and then got hurt. No telling what he'll do when he comes back. Huge risk. Upton has great potential but is not producing great numbers yet -- he's available on the waiver wire in my league. He's probably not going to do much for your team this year. Seems to me you're getting a whole lot of nothing in that deal for one of the top hitters in the league. Holliday is coming back this week, right? No way, don't make that deal. Bad trade. |

| No. Wells has come out on fire since he came off the DL and Young will kill your batting average. Wells can steal 10-15 bases and hit for power. |

I wouldn't do it but that's because both Gomez and Young are available on the waiver wire in my league so I could get them for free if I wanted them. With the way the scoring works in my league, neither of those guys are all that productive. Neither is Wells for that matter. None of those guys are standout players at this point. |

gavin floyd, white sox
todd wellemeyer, st. louis
josh banks, san diego
i had homer bailey twice this season (actually drafted him) but his last two outings made me drop him for floyd, after i picked him up again after dropping scherzer.
i finally benched brad penny, and wainwright went on the dl. wang, beckett and santana are my other starters. i also have rasner and jesse litch splitting time here and there |

I ended up not doing it, I got thrown because I saw 2 keepers in there but between the advice I got on here and some research I realized holding on to Mr. Holliday was the right thing to do. |

| Just got an offer of Milton Bradley and Yunel Escobar for Dan Uggla. Any thoughts? I have howie kendrick as a backup 2B but he is injury prone, and I can't be sure that Bradley will continue on his tear either. My OF is pretty solid (Quentin,Fukodome,Alex Rios w/Soriano on the DL) Not to mention there are a few viable OF's I could pick up off the waiver wire if need be. I'm not sure if I'm being stubborn or just content with my team near the top of the heap as is. |

| This Cleveland v San Diego game is huge for me this week. The only pitcher I have left is Sabathia, the only pitcher he has left is Maddux. Both are going against eachother right now, in a h2h league.. He is up by 1 win, I am up by 1 loss, he was up by 4 k's, I am up by .6 in era and he is up by .04 in WHIP. So this game is pretty much going to influence 5 categories for us. Come on Sabathia baby, papa needs a new pair of shoes brother :D |

Not that big of a deal. Ankiel and Kemp put up similar numbers and Verlander has pitched better lately, but Owings is on the better team. For the most part it is four players that haven't lived up to hype. |

| I suffered my first loss this week in almost 2 months. I would have tied 6-6 also if not for that bullshit infield hit by Swisher in the 9th inning last night. If he makes out, we tie 6-6. He gets the hit, and I lose 7-5. |

Lee for Lyon = bad trade unless you're loaded at SP and desperately need a closer. Lee is cooling off a bit after his torrid start but he's still got to be considered a top starting pitcher at this point. I'd think you can get a better closer for Lee at this point. Speaking of which, it might not be a bad idea to trade Lee since his value is sky-high right now.
Wood and Dempster for Berkman isn't bad at all. Dempster has been one of the biggest surprises in the league this year. He's putting up great numbers as a starter. Who'd a thunk? And Wood is a very solid closer. If you need pitching and can afford to give up Berkman, that isn't a bad deal at all. |
