| props to benjy...he tried really hard to hold artie back and stop him from throwing things. then artie ran past fred, stormed at will, gary tried to block the door, but artie kept going, he pushed gary, then ronnie grabbed artie and couldnt hold him alone, then a whole slew of guys blocked artie from going further down the hall. then they let him go, and he tried to attack again. he threw not one, but two sodas...he was in a rage |

Whoa, just watched it.
First of all fuck anyone who thinks THAT was a bit, hell no.
Second of all props to Ba-Ba for putting his entire body between Artie and Teddy. It seems like Ba-ba is always the one who is in the middle when a fight goes down(Stuttering John vs AJ).
The first 25 minutes I didn't like Teddy because I did feel like he was being disrespectful when Artie was talking to him as his boss and not his friend but that's the problem when you're friends and someone's boss at the same time, Teddy's passive agressive comments would have made me fire his ass on the spot(not to mention the eye rolling which we couldn't see before).
But toward the end I really felt for him, it was clear that he cares about Artie and him crying made me feel bad for him. He said MANY times he didn't want to be in that damn room and Howard told him to stay.
The look in Artie's eyes was scary, he would have sent Teddy to the hospital if he had gotten a hold of him.
How the hell is Ronnie going to protect anyone? Seriously Ronnie was no help at all, it was Artie, Benji, and Scott the Engineer who were big enough to mildly hold Artie.
You could tell that Robin was annoyed as fuck at Howard for pushing the issue, the look on her face(and lol @ the water on the window) was priceless, like she wanted to cuss Howard out.
Why didn't Fred try to stop Artie? Fred just sat there and watched like "Fuck I'm not getting in this one!" lol.
There's so much to take in that I'll have to watch it again a few times but still...holy shit. |

Something as monumental as the Artie episode from the 10th is why I have HowardTV in the first place, not to see a god damned retard go to the pseudo moon. Let me just add that the 'Garypalooza' episode was like visual cancer. One of the worst things I have ever seen on television. Get your shit together and give me my money's worth. Seeing the whole thing as compared to hearing it finally confirms it all as a real event. Everyone notice that red welt across the right side of Arties neck?
I'll tell ya, Artie may be overweight but NO-WAY is he as unhealthy as everyone says he is. He moved through that studio like a bull intent on destruction!

I still maintain at least the setup was a bit. I don' think they expected Artie to lose it though. I just think Artie was fed up with Teddy in more ways then one and lost control.
After seeing it, not long after when Robin and Howard are talking in the Aftermath, both Howard and Robin crack multiple smiles (allbeit a split second)
Watch it again, they both crack smiles. There's no way they would smile after that. Not even a bit.
I think it was staged and it just got out of hand. I mean, if Artie was that pissed at Teddy, there's no way they would still be working together. At the very end when they are interviewing Teddy he says "Artie will be back, no doubt"
He knew. |

Well in terms of Howard knowing it would be good radio yeah he set it up for it to be a real life "bit" to the audience like he does with every staff fight but you're right, they didn't expect that and for people to see Artie's face and think it was a bit still boggles me. |
