I have one subscription at full price in my house.
So I got a new car with 6 months free Sirius. I activated online, used my username and account info, but when it asked if I wanted to extend over the 6 months, it was gonna charge me the full price and not the 6.99, as if it was a seperate subscription......so I left it at 6 months for free. Did I fuck it up?
Do I let the free 6 months run out and then add it to my main subscription? I'm not sure how that works?
Thanks in advance |

Nope, you've done good. When I got my new car about 2 years ago, it also came with a free 6 month subscription and I had an existing account. Just before the free subscription runs out, I suggest calling Sirius and request the 2nd subscription discount. If you're really bold, you can suggest another 6 month extension of your freebie in lieu of total cancellation of the 2nd subscription. Not sure if that will work, but you can give it a try. Have fun.

I had two free subs expire around the same time, about a month apart. Once I signed up for the first sub at full price, I was not able to get the second sub at the discount price until the second free sub was 2 days away from expiring.
Since that time, no issues and billing is correct. |
