1. Dale Jr. .... Good on plate tracks plus HMS Power
2. Jeff Gordon... Same as above been the man at dega last few years
3. Smoke ....Jr's buddy will help push Jr to the win
4. Truex carries the flag for DEI
5. Burton... Good power plus has the veterian skills needed to keep his nose out of trouble
my sleeper is david reutimann Waltrip has always run good on superspeedways and I that will rub off and the kid will grab a top 10 plus the toyota motor runs good when it stays wound up which will happen at dega also watch for bower to be in the top 10 to 15 range late may even battle for the win |

1. Tony Stewart - Finally after all these years he gets one at Dega
2. Dale Jr. - Will Push Tony to the front
3. Jeff Gordon - Need a reason? Won both races last year and the first COT at a plate track
4. Kurt Busch - Always up front in the plate races. As long as he stays out of the way and trouble he will be good
5. David Gilliland - Stop your laughing. This guy has posted strong finishes in recent races and yes he did place 4th last year at this race. Yates power + Plate races=Success
Sleeper - Brian Vickers. Won at Dega a couple years and is always strong at plate races. last year had to qualify and missed out but not this year being in the Top 35. RBR will have his 83 car dialed in. |

it was a great race right up until the cautions came with less than 10 to go...would have loved to see it finish under green...but thats racin'
I just wonder how Tony REALLY feels about 'Weed' winning all of these races???????

Last night Smoke said first thing Monday morning Jr was on the phone apologizing and saying it was his fault. I believe him. JR did as much for him to win the Sat race as Smoke did and spent a lot of time pushing him Sunday. Its early in the season and theres still time to be forgiven if your good enough friends. I just think it sucks for him that hes been wrecked twice this year at the end of the race and its been by his two closest friends on the track.
But of course the morons in the "Jr Nation" are all still blaming Stewart. I think the reason JR has the most fans in NASCAR is because he has all the dumb ones. It reminds me of last year when JR went on live TV to say he blew his engine because he not only spun it backwards in practice but then overreved it several times during the race and " the nation" spent the entire week coming up with every Teresa Earnhart DEI tinfoil hat conspiriacy theory as to why his car went boom. |
