| I had the exact situation Artie's talking about right now. Many years ago I lent a friend a lot of money, then a few months later she planned a trip to Europe. I couldn't believe it. It took her 10 years to finally pay me back (and I never got it all back). Then again she was crying she was broke, yada yada yada, and I lent her money again. It was only for a couple of weeks until she got some money she had coming to her. Then her Mother's car died, so she said she had to give her Mother money for a car. A few months later, her and her Mother went to Italy for Christmas. I've not gotten any money back yet. I'm never giving her another dime as long as I live. She could be living on the streets, I don't care - not one dime. |
