Dual Band/Ala Cart Radio's are in development and once the merger goes through expect to see them soon. Hopefully by the holiday season. My dream is to get a radio that can play both XM & Sirius!

I am milking the life out of my 4 year old Starmate Replay until the new ones come out. I want to get the NHL, MLB and the NFL together on one radio!!

Yeah me too. I have a Sportster 4 and it should last me a while. Fuck the Ala Cart, I want a radio that can get both Sirius and XM. The rumor is they are in development as well.

I wouldn't mind having one, but if they wind up charging more to have both services, they can forget it.

I don't know. I'd pay extra to double my channels. I'd pay at least up to 18 bucks compared to 12 bucks for a dual Sirius/XM subscription.

And on a side note there is a lot of scuttlebutt about the starmate 5 having the ability to get XM...

I am patiiently waiting for this merger to go through but my st4 is on it's way down the crapper. P.S. Ialso have no problem paying 5 to 6 bucks more for both

If it's free then I would have no problem replacing one of my tuners, but I already get the XM channels through DirecTV, so I highly doubt I would pay extra.

I think it will be a while before all of this comes together for the dual band radios. I also think there are a lot of people who are craving listening to MLB on XM. I've heard of so many people that got XM for MLB in addition to having Sirius. Most of them canceled shortly after they realized they would still just spend most of their time listening to Sirius over the MLB games.
