A few months ago I purchased a Stiletto2 radio and Car kit package from TSS radio.
I mailed in the $50 rebate form along with the original UPC code and a photocopy of the SID\ESN
label. Today I got a card from Sirius saying that the rebate was declined because the SIS\ ESN wasn't found. I DEFINITELY included it in the envelope! I still have the original box with the original label but I'm reluctant to send them the original SID\ESD label for fear of them losing that one too. I can try sending them a photocopy again but will they accept it? The rebate form clearly states that a photocopy is acceptable. I called Sirius about it, and after being re-directed to 3 different phone numbers, they say I was declined because I purchased my radio online. I'm confused now. What's the difference between buying online and buying from a retail store? I used the rebate form that was posted on TSS website. Have you guys heard of anyone else with this issue?
If I didn't know better, I would think I was being scammed. I have heard of similar scams for AntiVirus software rebates.
What should I do about this? |

Same thing for me too.
But I sent the original. When I looked online at the rebate site it said Mine wasn't activated in time which is bullshit! I bought my kit from TSS too. |

I upgraded two radios, one was updated in time the other wasn't after activating for a year. BS. I will drop the second radio when the year is up. I already dropped 2 more radios because of this. |

Most of the time the rebates don't apply if you are upgrading radios. The reason would be a consumer could upgrade radios every month and make money off the rebates. And sell the old radios, and keep swapping them. |

Email me all the info you can taylor@tss-radio.com.
I have no control over the rebates, the retailers don't. We basically have to offer the rebates. It's something that the big box stores refuse to do with all products for this reason.
On the flip side I can't believe how many customers don't fill out the info right and send us the rebates, not reading the directions.
But let's see if we can get this straightened out for you. It was a new subscription right? |

| i had this issue when i first got sirius as well. seems like they don't like to process these rebates (surprise). i should have caused a big stink, but i figured this is how rebates work - they don't. |

| i still have photocopies of all my rebate stuff from two years ago never got my rebate but after six monts and numerous calls i got a $50 credit on my bill, as far as i'm concerned when you have a new product and need loyalty in your customers clipping them for $1 or $50 is not a good way to start a relationship out of the gate i love howard but some people take stealing the wrong way |
