Opie is a dry unfunny asshole, he has no talent. Anthony is actually pretty damn talented and does voices like you cant believe. Norton is an OK comedian. Anthony and Norton should dump Opie and apply for a slot at Sirius.

There are a few clues that this was staged, like everything they do. Firstly, Opie made the usual mistake of exagerating..there is no way Opie broke any equipment off air, what bullshit. Secondly, Cumia's jokes were far too forced and too often in a pre set pattern. Cumia faked his anger, his jokes were totally planned as no one would have joked at that time if it were real and it made no sense in the context of the situation.

speaking of "fake radio" I tuned into them today and apparently they have Club Soda Kenny, Dice Clay's former lackey, as there in-house moron, doing various "look at me, I'm a moron bits". Yet if you do a google search on Club soda Kenny, you'd learn that he was(is?) a detective and investigator for the West Orange New Jersey police for 22 years...can't be all that dumb for that job, even if it's New Jersey...sounds like fake radio to me. |

I didn't originally call it fake either until I heard that clip, but my god it's fake. The whole throwing things and "breaking" equipment, Anthony and Norton being "innocent" victims, Opie allegedly being out of control, just sounds like they were copying the Artie template. They played clips from Howard's show a few weeks ago of the Artie meltdown and they called it great radio. And you know what those guys do when Howard does something that's considered great. |
