Oh sorry - I mean "Jamie's First Appearance". Some observations about this show:
It was weird seeing JD sitting on the couch with Stuttering John. I didn't know those two had worked together. It was like seeing a collision between the old school Stern crew and the Sirius Stern crew.
JD saying he had never had a drop of alcohol in his life. Now he drinks like a fish.
Not one person made fun of his speaking style.
He was more articulate back then. None of his "Yes......no.....I don't know" answers or using "like" and "whatever" every other word.
Howard said once JD started hanging out with them at Score's he would end up dating a stripper. Well it got better than that - he started dating a porn star!
Seeing Shuli as a caller. Neither he nor anyone on the show had any idea Shuli would one day be working there as a Howard Stern employee.
Seeing Artie thinner - then again any show from more than 1 year ago would show Artie thinner.
Overall an interesting show. I would much rather see old shows like this one showing people's first appearances than see "Bowling Beauties" or Sybian rides. |

I saw the show too. IMHO, this was when Howard was at his best.... the show was awesome back then. Over the years, and since going to Sirius.... and since he's started dating Beth, Howard has lost some of his edge. I still enjoy the show, but man 2001-2003 was when Stern was at his best.
It was funny during this episode when Howard was ragging on Scott the Engineer for not being able to go to Scores. He said Scott's wife had him by the balls. Whats funny is, Howard doesn't do a lot of the things the old Howard would do (like get 18 year olds naked) because BETH has HIM by the balls now!! |

It's called "Jamie The Intern Going To Scores Party" and is located in "From the Vault" or "First Appearances" depending on your local cable system. |
