| I have been getting tons of interference on all different FM stations lately...has anyone else had this problem? I am thinking that my receiver is dying and the FM transmitter is losing its juice. Thanks. |

| Had the same problem in our Explorer. Removing the exterior car antenna solved the problem. |

I have been having the exact same issues with my Stiletto 2. It worked fine till about 10 days ago. Tonight i got the hardwire kit to "kick" the car antennae out and it seems to have fixed everything.
Thanks to TSSRADIO for getting the parts to me quickly. |

| change the station . if you change from 88.1 you can find one that will work all the time |

I started out on the default 88.1 and then they use the frequency now for a latin station. I'm currently on 94.1 and haven't had an issue with that frequency.
You could pony up for the direct hook in and not have any signal interference but it's like 130 for it + more if you pay to have it installed and not do it yourself. |

Go to your local radio shack and buy the cable that costs 2.99 and use the auxillary hole on your car radio. You no longer need the Fm Cord attached to your radio. It has been a God send living here in West Virginia. Itis the same cable that you would use to plug your ipod into your car.
Here is a copy and paste from sirius website.
BEST - DIRECT WIRED CONNECTION VIA "AUX IN" OR "LINE IN" INPUT
For best audio performance and easiest installation.
For those car radio models that offer an "AUX IN" or "LINE IN" input
Purchase an audio cable that matches the connection type of your car radio and your SIRIUS radio at your local electronics retailer (your SIRIUS radio requires a 1/8" stereo male connector)
Plug one end of the cable into the "AUDIO OUT" or "LINE OUT" jack on your SIRIUS radio. Plug the other end into your "AUX IN" or "LINE IN" jack on your car radio
Turn the FM transmitter of your SIRIUS radio OFF
NOTE: Refer to your car radio manufacturer's guidelines for correct installation
NOTE: The location of the "AUX IN" or "LINE IN" jack in the car radio varies from car to car. Some common locations are:
on the face plate of the car radio
anywhere on the front dash panel
inside the glove compartment
inside the center console in between the front seats
on the back of the radio
NOTE: If the "AUX IN" or "LINE IN" connection is on the back of your car radio, you may want to consider professional installation
Enjoy and let me know how it works for you |
