Fucking stupid !!!! i guess its not Petco park , this teams offence sucks everywhere . Thanks for not resigning Milton Bradley or Mike Cameron . Any team can run at will on this team our catcher can't throw out shit , STEAL STEAL STEAL I was looking foward baseball season and another run at the N.L. West penant but not with these slappys Peavy is the only high spot on this team but he better throw a shit load of shutouts and go 9 innings to win anything .

Thought the Padres would resemble the Angels with Black as manager but they sign crappy players (edmounds) and their minor league players stink too. if you listen to XX sports you would think the the Pad's are one player away from the world series. :rolleyes:

Bud Black is a great manager i my opinion , Kevin Towers need to give him the playmakers or he'll have the same fate as Bochy
As far as Chargers / Padres / Celtics ...
i was never a Lakers or Clippers fan (when they were in San Diego) i never really even gave a shit about basketball but my buddy was a Celtics fan and i saw a game with Bird , Mchale , Anige , Parish , And DJ one day at his house and was entertained as hell watching them
As far as coming up the 5 lol I'm too loyal of a fan to my teams, although it was cool to see the Angels win the Series a few years back instead of the Yankees same tired old shit |

John Moores is a cheap fuck who lied his ass off to get Petco Park built. He promised that once the Padres were in Petco they would finally be able to compete financially with other teams and would be able to sign some big name free agents.
He promised Padre fans Neiman Marcus and delivered another Walmart.
Our entire outfield is a joke with Giles, Edmonds way past their prime, and McNulty and Hairston both belonging on the bench.
Our catchers can't throw out anybody.
Nobody on the Padres lineup scares opposing pitchers, maybe Gonzalez but that's about it.
Petco Park is ideal for a team with speed, the Padres have no speed. They need rabbits to get on base and run, run, run! We have no rabbits!
The Padres have no speed, no power, no hope.
We have decent starting pitching and a closer who should have retired after last season.
It's going to be a long season fighting for last place in the west with the Giants. |

I've lived in Boston, NY, San Fran, and L.A. and the biggest joke of a fan group ever has to be Angel fans. They have NO clue about baseball and 90% jumped on the bandwagon after 2002. They have a good team, a good mananger and a great owner but their fanbase is laughable.
And if Stoneman had any balls he could have had a powerhouse by trading some of their prospects who became complete flops in the majors. He should have been gone years ago. |

Petco is a beautiful park and there really isnt a bad seat . The Western Metals building seating is cool and theres a pretty cool resturant / bar there . If you are taking kids the park at the park is cool too it has a beach sand box and a mini ballpark for kids to run the bases i think those tix are 5 dollar jobbers |
