Who would of ever thought that or bet that on Mothers Day the Marlins of all teams would have the best record in MLB. Will be interesting to see where they are at come Fathers Day.

Yea they will.

They get some of the best draft picks year in and year out...they should be good by now.
SleepingWarrior
So... how long until they dismantle and sell off this team like they have done in the past when they've gotten good?

I'm really happy they are being noticed...I've been a Marlin fan since 95..I love em
Elslavo
They always do this and have a knack for drafting good young players.. too bad only 3,000 people care

A few points:

1. The Marlins actually have a lot of fans. Their local TV ratings are excellent, but it's true that often only about 1000 show up to a weekday game.

2. They have good young talent, but most of it is too young.

3. The ownership group and front office is just about the biggest bunch of greedy assholes around, but they are pretty smart.

4. The AL is going to wreck the Marlins (and most of the NL) in interleague, so the "best record in baseball" days are numbered. I can't see them winning the division, but they could hang around awhile.

Baseball with cheerleaders......ain't nothing wrong with that.

I'll hit them all one-by-one (or two-by-two) except for the blonde in the bottom left corner.

The scouts in the Marlins organization are surely earning their paychecks, they should be among the highest paid.

Fuck Billy Beane, the best GM in MLB is Larry Beinfest, he's so good the owner picked him over Joe Girardi

Hey, I'm an Atlanta Braves fan and I'm here to say the Marlins are for real. It's like Bill Parcels said: You are your record. The Marlins are standing a top the N.L East for a reason. They deserve to be in first place. Just my opinion.......
