I believe the sock was a setup but there's no doubt the man was hurt and is, along w/ Smoltz, the best big game starting pitcher of his generation. That man single handedly ended 86 years of futility. W/o him they don't have a Chmapionship right now, pedro was too soft to lead them, I hate Schilling(since he cost us 2 Championships) but I have an incredible amount of respect for what he has done especially in October.
