The only good thing is to see some familiar female faces from shows past. Scott was atrocious. He didnt even seem like he wanted to be there one bit. His commentary was OK, he just looked like he was in pain being there watching females bowl, really badly.
It should have been done in the buff. That wouldnt have been groundbreaking but something id say hey...thats kinda cool.
Bikinis on an uncensored channel. Im sorry, thats silly, and someone really dropped the ball. Naked should have been the way to go. If they didnt want to get naked, guess what, you aint on the show then....next. Full on nude too, no topless. |

Now that I think about it, it is kinda starnge that since Howard got an uncensored radio show and tv channel that the show actually has less sex and nudity than it used when he was on uncensored terrestrial radio and network tv.
Remember when porn star banging listener contests were fairly regular? Remember when the WHEEL OF SEX was raunchy and fun? Remember when they've have girls shooting things out of their vaginas? Remember when Howard shaved a woman's pubic hair? Remember spankings and Butt Bongo? Remember the porn star Olympics? Remember when porn stars had to actually do funny entertaining stuff to get plugs or to even get on the show? Remember them throwing boloney at girls asses and beating them with fish?
The stuff they do now is just so boring. From time to time they may do something interesting like the Mexican Delivery Game but then they'll have weeks where the same Penthouse girls come on again and again and just sit on the couch and be interviewed and talk about the same stuff. Hasn't that red head porn star/Penthouse Pet (something) Jolie been on the show about 5 times in the last year or so?
It seems that Howard (and the gang) think that seeing a girl topless or naked is supposed to be entertaining enough that they don't have to do anything else with them anymore.
Bowling is a dull thing to watch and girls in bikinis really don't make it that much more exciting no matter how much you hype it. |

I agree. I certainly didn't get HTV just fot T&A, but I figured that at least once per week there would be a segment featuring some hot naked chicks doing some wacky shit. Even if there were only 4-5 segments like this per month I figured it would justify me subscribing.
However there is probably a segment like this once every 4-6 weeks. Moreover, most of the T&A segments they do are pretty much bikini based. Whether it's pageants, evaluations, Miss HTV, or Bowling, they all revolve around a chick in nothing more revealing than a bikini.
Take the monthly Miss HTV segments. What the hell is that? The girls walks in the studio, usually in a bikini, talks for 5 minutes, and leaves. Even the segments where she introduces the upcoming segments for the month on HTV she's in a bikini. On an UNCENSORED station. Why not do it like Naked News and have her slowly strip nude while announcing each segment?
Bottom line: T&A based humor on an UNCENSORED station that revolves around clothed broads is pointless. |

I mean, I'll watch it anyway, cause like my name indicates....I'm a Stern Junkie and will watch to keep up with what's going on (they will likely continue talking about this on the air as well as have the winner in studio).
But the premise is stupid. I guess they figure that eventually we'll start to root for these girls and care about who wins. I doubt it.
Jim Florentine does a horrible job. Scott does a horrible job. The girls are wearing bikini's....why aren't they naked?!?!?.....oh, I guess cause some HTV genius thought that Bikini Bowling sounded catchy.
They should all be fired. I'm glad I DL occasionally on the binaries rather than pay for that crap. When I start seeing good stuff I'll pay for it.
And by good stuff I mean some really simple and obvious things, like when a chick is in there and gets naked....here's a thought.....focus the camera on her!!!
Maybe it's a good thing Issac is leaving.
Get some fresh blood in there and some new ideas. |

I dont know what you guys are talking about, this idea looks amazing the previews were really hot. cant wait to see some topless bowling id much rather whatch that then cnn.
for some reason I can't whatch it yet though, I dont seem to get any of the new howard stern shows (except the daily shows) but any event like this one doesnt appear on my howard stern on demand channel I have rogers on demand and I get only the OLD shows and the new DAILY shows. wtf is with that I want to see some naked chicks bowling.

If my memory serves me correct, it's not even topless. In fact most of the girls weren't even in thongs. There literally seemed to be nothing there you could not have aired on the E Show, or the old channel 9 show.
Again, you don't get a collection of porn stars and Penthouse Pets to bowl as a special event on an uncensored station, and then keep the girls in bikinis. It defeats the whole purpose of having an uncensored station.
Imagine if "The Naked News" was the "Bikini News. What's the point?
I finally had "The Hottest Wife" contest added to my system. Again, what was the point of this? Three broads walk into the studio and get evaluated in Stree Clothes. Again, this is an uncensored station. Airing Pageants, Hottest Wife Contests, Playmate evaluations, or Bowling segments with clothed women, or at best wearing bikinis is worthless for an uncensored station. |

Yeah, how dare people complain about dull, uninteresting, lame content on a service that they are paying for which supposedly prides itself on being edgey and ground-breaking. Sorry buddy, but you are the one that needs to STFU. The daily shows are released at a snail's pace and half the time they miss the mark as well. This is something that the fans NEED to speak up about. HTV is really in a rut and the whole shebang needs to be reworked.
I've been a fan for a few decades and the ONLY reason that I'm still paying for HTV is that my old lady works for the cable company so we get all our services for pretty much next to nothing. If it weren't for that I would have cancelled this crap they pawn off on us as Howard Television a long time ago. It just seems to be phoned in and half-assed.
The whole thing needs to be scrapped and redone from the ground up. |

I just ignore this kind of material since the shows with bimbos, strippers and porn stars got old in the '90s, a waste of time.
I'd like to see this type of content available separately on a different service leaving more room for actually Stern content that is unique to Howard. |

| The HTV guys are really creative, I hope next they have girls in Bikinis playing golf. The problem is these guys were in charge of simply filming the show and editing down for E for all those years. They're not creative minds thus the reason for Bowling Beauties. It's a lazy idea that was probably pitched by an intern at a meeting. |

Gary brings up the idea and there is zero reaction from anyone in the room especially Howard who almost winces in pain at the thought. They continue to try and work with the idea instead of moving on like in a real creative meeting. You should read from a master list of ideas from 'writers' who are constantly adding to it. Whatever gets the most reaction from the group is what you go with (pending legalities, etc...). I'm sure there were more ideas they didn't show us but even the Garypalooza meeting didn't get a great reaction. |

I totally agree with that assessment. Howard just seems to be going through the motions at this point while people like Gary are still trying desperately to keep the ship afloat but when you have ideas that only might have been edgy a couple of decades ago it is hard to make it work. The best hope the show has at this point is the younger group of people working there but they usually get mocked when they bring up ideas.
The people running the show at this point are stuck in a certain mindset and that is a big part of the problem. |

When I first heard about the show I though to myself, ok why aren't they paring the hot chick with a whack-packer on a team? That would make the show actually funny and entertaining. I think other posts said it, we don't get HTV for T&A (for the most part), there are plenty of other places for that. |

It seems that bowling beauties is a bit more popular than we would've thought. An online prediction market Hubdub has apparently created some prediction markets regarding the contest.
Right now people are predicting that Jackie's gonna win it, but Leticia isn't far behind. I've got my bets on Leticia pulling through although I must admit I haven't been paying as much attention to the contest as I used to. If you want to check out the market they have on the contest go here.

| The problem with any HTV "bit", is there really isnt much that Howard can do that people cant see for free on the internet in some form. HTV is much better when they just tape the Sirius show, and we can see segments from the show that just form naturally. I would be willing to bet if they could have done that show in 1985, it would be a golden bit. But nowadays that stuff is barely PG-13. |
