Mike D'Antoni isn't expected to waste time before remolding the Knicks in his image -- sources indicate that he will try to trade for Suns players Leandro Barbosa and Boris Diaw, possibly using Stephon Marbury's contract to get the deal done.
The incentive for the Knicks is obvious, while the Suns could unload two players who have reportedly fallen out of favor with management. Marbury's bloated contract expires in July of 2009, promising significant salary cap relief should the Suns agree to such a deal. After seeing the Suns trade Shawn Marion for Shaq, very little would surprise us.

how is this good news. so no cap room for Lebron or Wade in 2010. And is nate robinson really capable of running the point in this guys run and gun offense. Yes he won a lot of games in the regular season but has done sht in the playoffs.
I wanted Mark jackson all along and I still think this is another Larry brown deal that will blow up in teh Knicks faces. dantoni came for money and money only. |

we are not getting lebron there is no fucking way
wade isn't going to revamp this team alone and the money they would have to devote to him is ridiculous, barbosa is good and alot cheaper build around that |

chris paul is also a free agent. I think lebron is going to the nets if they go to brooklyn considering he is good friends with jay Z |

| Diaw and Barbosa are only going to play well with nash at the point. If they trade for those guy they will only continue their problem of big contracts that last forever. Also Jerome James is the luckiest motherfucker in the world. |

| diaw and barbosa make too much money for what they are as players. We don't need any more ridiculous cap #s....Keep Marbury and let him come off the books.....bosh, wade, lebron etc are all free agents in 2010 and we will land one.....We need to get lucky and get Derrick Rose in the draft and build the team through the draft. We are hopefully trading Curry and/or Randolph during this offseason. Donnie Walsh is a smart guy and won't put us in further cap hell for 2 role players(hopefully) |

JayZ owns like 5% of the team, If Lebron leaves he's going to the Knicks, it's a money deal and the Knicks can offer the most, plus there's no value to being "King of New York City" ask Derek Jeter, |

This could be true .. Coach D'Antoni is a assistant coach on the USA team.. doesnt bother me to where he goes cuz I'm a Suns fan and will always love Coach D .. |
