Well, on one hand I'd agree with you in as much as the Superbowl winners very often have the hangover the next year. Add to that, outside of Mitchell and Shockey (and Plax to a lesser degree), The Giants were very injury free and I doubt that they'll have that good fortune two years in a row in that good of a division. |

Giants got on a hot streak and played great in the playoffs, but they barely made the playoffs. I guarantee the Patriots will have a better record than the Giants this year though it won't mean shit if they lose in the playoffs again. |

We all could root for a great team every year if we picked teams in late January like you.
First of all, we were talking about if the Giants had to go through Seattle at Qwest last year, not this year dummy. If you would have read back just a couple more posts then you would have seen that. Besides, the Hawks have the Giants number regardless of where they play.
The Redskins got the bad break and had to go to Seattle. Remember how at the beginning of the playoffs you picked the Redskins because they were the hottest team going in? You said the Hawks home field advantage would make no difference because they played teams in the NFC West. lol
You can keep using the NFC West card all you want, but the fact of the matter is that the Hawks play the East even better than the West. They have an eight game winning streak against the East. Why is it that you don't recall this? Is it because it makes your argument too inconvenient? |
