Hamas official: "After we defeat the Zionists we will persecute them... we will persecute them to eternity"
Land for what, now? "Zahar: 'We will persecute the Zionists'," from the Jerusalem Post, May 14:
Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar said Wednesday that a Palestinian state will be established on all of the land of Palestine and not only on parts of it, and that it will include "Jaffa, Lod and Haifa."
Zahar also reiterated Hamas' unwillingness to recognize the State of Israel and said that the group "will continue to persecute the Zionists wherever they are, after we prove that the Zionist army can be defeated - contrary to what was believed in the past, that it is impossible to beat the Zionists."
Speaking in the Gaza Strip, he went on to affirm Palestinian right of return, claiming that the "right of return of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians is closer than ever."
"After we defeat the Zionists we will persecute them… we will persecute them to eternity, and the sun of the freedom and independence of the Palestinians will burn all of the Zionists," he continued.
"I think there's no doubt in anyone's mind that, if Israel is ever going to find peace with justice concerning the relationship with their next-door neighbors, the Palestinians, that Hamas will have to be included in the process." - Dhimmi Carter, April 13.

Yeah Hamas are idiots, but they're unpopular, demonstrations against them, and they only control a small area of Palestine and support isnt too strong for them these days.
So them being more unhelpful for resolving the situation, will lead to more people not liking them, and then they wont be in power in the gaza strip for much longer.
Although the strategy to break them as a government by Israel and the US and other international countries is working.. the only problem is what will come after that.
The problem why hamas still has some support is because there is no hope of ever getting a good deal so p[eople get angry, turn to fundamentalism and fight. Offer people a good alternative and they will reject it. The Palestinians are sick of the situation they are in, but they have no other options. |

As a precondition to peace talks, Israel should cease to exist. Restore the former state of Palestine. Israelis can be citizens of Palestine. But no more collective punishments, air strikes on residential neighborhoods, illegal nuclear arsenals, et cetera.

There was never a Palestinian State in the history of the world.
If Israel does have a nuclear arsenal it is not illegal. They have never joined the NPT. |

As far as I'm concerned the U.S. should pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan and inform the world that we are pulling out of the Persian Gulf. That will end our Iran problem for the immediate future and perhaps for all time.
Let the world deal with Iran. I'm sick of America being the ones on the front line all the time. Meanwhile other countries sit back and really don't need to deal with it. They know we will be there.
On occasion the world has seen evil. Then they forget. Let the world enjoy a reign of madmen once again.

One of the main reasons why I am pro alternative energy for transportation is I'm so sick of being at the mercy of Iran. If their threats of stopping exporting oil didn't scare us we would be in a lot better position against them. |
