What's the point of this? BB came off like a lying fool. You guys make fun of Clemens for attacking Mcnamee but at leats McNamee has a checkered past of lying. All BB is doing is attacking the credibility of Walsh and the Commish already said he thought BB was lying.
By the way, did CBS get the interview b/c they are building a Restaurant in Gillette Stadium?

Since your from ny and there is so much hatred for bb because he wouldnt
stay and coach the jets , then you or anyone else in ny will never believe
anything he say's and your opinion means shit.
But if you want to believe a disgruntled former employee of the patriots go ahead,
I'm sure all the ny papers do and i'm sure whatever they print you take as gospel.
And the fact that he avoided ESPN , i say kudo's , FUCK EM.
They bring on former players that dont know shit about the game.
They spew their BS about spygate and conviently leave out ( in Mark former bronco Schlereth's case) the fact that the bronco's taped the chargers practices and fudged the salary cap so
they could sign more players.
But the only thing that gets talked about is the patriots.
Notice they don't talk about the JETS taping either that MATT WALSH told them about.

again, the FACT that there is a partnership btw CBS and the Pats had nothing to do w/ them getting that "story".
Do I dislike BB? Yes, Do I respect him as a great coach? Yes. This has nothing to do w/ whether I like or dislike him. This has to do w/ the truth and the truth is he got caught cheating and the truth is Goodell said he thought BB wa slying that he didn't know the rules so in essence he sided w/ Walsh's story. Last night he just went on the offensive against Walsh, how did that help BB's credibility? He was deflecting like the Pats and their fans are doing. Would I trade this nonsese for 3 SB's? Absolutely but this will now always be an issue w/ the Pats dynasty of '01-'04. That's just the way it is, you can accept it and shine your trophies or you can be defensive about it. It's a fact and now it should be time to move on. BB did an awful job last night and now has prolonged this issue when we should be moving on by now.
By the way they did talk about the Jets taping when BB brought it up in December but it was found out the Jets had permission to tape where they were taping from and the issue died.
Isn't it funny though how you don't believe anything Walsh says yet he makes a remark about how he thought the jets and other teams were doing the same things yet you believe him about that. Is he credible or not? |

He didnt go on the defensive , he was giving his story because up until last night all
we heard was walsh's story and all the idiots at espns drivel.

BB's "stature" is all about lying and cheating, whether its in football or in life so why would we take his word over another man's word? Who knows who is completely telling the truth. If you think Belichick didn't know in '00 that what he was doing was illegal you are kidding yourself. I don't completely trust Walsh either but we can all agree the Pats were doing something wrong they knew about for many years, right?
Again, I don't know if that was the difference maker in their SB runs. BB is still a great coach, the Pats teams were still very talented. I will still think of them as great teams BUT there will always be whispers about spygate when the '00s Pats are brought up in discussions. |

| How great of a coach is he really? He got respect initially for being a Parcells disciple. On his own......it's all tainted now. Fuck it, the only way to end the argument is to watch next season. Their spirit already crushed by THE MIGHTY NEW YORK GIANTS and ability to cheat hampered, let's see how quickly they fall to mediocrity. If they remain an elite team then I'll give BB some credit. |
