I do not believe B2H ever said that Beckett is actually hurting their young pitchers. I thought it was more that he could hurt the young pitchers and he would not want him on his team.

Right there you have to wonder about the guy because from what I can see Beckett has two World Series rings and is on a staff loaded with young pitchers with many more coming up through the minors. I don't disagree about them passing on Santana, i think it was a huge mistake, but I'm thrilled we won't be batting against him 4 or 5 times this year.

One thing you will have to do in law school is argue both sides of an argument. You dismiss those who disagree with you, you speak in black and white, and generalizations that you cannot back up.

If you for a minute think you will succeed in law school with that type of attitude, you may as well skip it.

By the way US News and World Report only ranks THE TOP 164 schools, in its breakdown. There are THOUSANDS of law schools in this country.

To be ANYWHERE on that list, is a fucking achievment. People work there fucking ass off to get into a school like Miami, or even the #164 school on that list. Not to mention how fucking insane the price of college is right now. Give the fucking guy a break. He is not a bad fucking guy.

It is not easy to get into ANY law school. Even if it is #198. It is also not cheap. I would be proud if I got into #87. Going to the University of Miami is far from anything insulting. I think most of us only wish we could go spend 3 yrs down there.

I agree it looks that way, ow that I am watching the games again, but his numbers are super solid.

I have a theory on what has happened:

I think he has shifted back to his home run hitting swing in all honesty.

With his "inside out" single or double approach he had a high avg. which was creeping around .340

But he has changed his approach because he had to assume A-Rod's cleanup position, and he IS NOT a cleanup hitter.

He was stalled with RBI's in the transition, because he saw very few RISP opportunities.

His power and RBI's are building and his AVG. is dropping.

But that is to be expected.

Now that Arod is back, I think hell change from the uppercut to inside out again, and he will have less homers and higher avg, WITH more RBI's.
