OBAMA '08! |
Why Obama in 08? I'm sorry, I just don't get it. A one term senator is the right man to lead our entire country in a time of crisis? How does that make sense? |

Barack has already won. It's over Johnny, IT'S OVER! And even if Hillary still had a chance, and the situation was reversed, the Barack half of the party would just threaten to stay home or vote McCain. Joint ticket is the best hope either of them have right now. I don't care about their egos, I don't care if they like each other. With this year long election we've had, everyone knows already whether they're voting D or R come November, and if the fucking RECORD breaking Dem primary / caucus numbers are a sign of what's to come, then we know the people WANT to vote Dem. Only problem is the two halves of the party are so in love with their individual candidate, that it's gotten to the point that they're being big cry babies and threatening all this stay home / vote McCain shit if they don't get their way. That's immature and quite honestly, pathetic. The black guy and the chick join up and win. That's all there is to it, that's the only way there is to it. End story, move on. |

I agree dude. He seems like an okay guy and is obviously a good speaker, but president?
Just goes to show how stupid we really are. This race was a guaranteed Democrat win and the two front runners are a one term black senator who doesn't speak like a hood rat and Hillary friggin Clinton? We really are idiots aren't we? |

Couldn't have said it any better. I'm not saying obama is a terrible person, but the president at this stage of his short career? Come on. It's too bad there are way too many dumbasses in this country that will vote for obama. |

75,000 at a rally in Portland, but 3,.7 MILLION live in Oregon.
Obama had 40,000 at a rally in Erie PA and lost by 10 points. Obambi was up 20 points, now up 4 in polls, with 6% undecided. We shall see. |

I live in oregon and it sickens me to see so many supporting this fucking guy, I dont like Hillary much either but i think she has more exp. I am so sick of people talking about what a great speaker Obama is, who gives a fuck-
75,000 starfuckers in my opinion, if they polled half these ass hats that wasted such a nice day to go get a glimpse at Hussein Obama, Jr. These fucks dont know what his policy or standings are anymore than i do of Hillary-
Its just the flavor of the month, people in Oregon follow trends, i know because i live here and see it daily, fuck i follow trends too-
Call me a cunt, i dont care. You want him for president thats your choice, not mine--
I was riding my harley home from a nice day at the coast and saw all the Obama fuckers downtown, people waving to me like i was riding to support his lame ass, i waved back.
With my middle finger! Go out and waste your vote, hopefully the grease on your fingers from the fried chicken fucks up your mail in ballot! |

He was a state senator prior to this. Do you believe that experience simply leads to better leadership? He's the lesser of 3 evils, this country is in a "crisis" because of neo-con foreign policy and fascist economics, which Mc Cain and Hillary represent much more then Obama. |

Given that a person is allowed to serve two terms it's still not too late for the Dems to draft Jimmy Carter. |

Right on..... that is what I thought when I was out a month ago here in PA. The dude draws them in with hallow rhetoric. I am a Democrat but I WILL be voting McCain. No Obama in the white house. This guy does not know his asshole from his elbow in 57 states. |

You sound like a well educated, well informed voter. Why so scared?
I would think that gas being 4 dollars a gallon and 600 billion(so far) going to finance a farcical war would have scared the racisim out of you. You really want to vote for a republcan who supports GW's failed policies?
Good Luck. |

| I can't bring myself to vote for Hillary, I don't buy into anything she claims to stand for! It's highly unlikely Obama will win KY though, Hillary has been making rounds all weekend, so has Bill. They are taking the time to visit the small cities, and the female voters are coming out in full force. It sucks! Just because Howard has an opinion on someone doesn't mean you have to agree! |

I think the fact that he is a one term Senator is an asset.
Frankly, we need some fresh air in DC. If you've been in DC long enough you can't help but be tainted by it, and no one has a successful political career for a long time without being beholden to various interests.
We need someone to go in there and use common sense instead of ideological bullshit.
They way a candidate runs a campaign is an indication of what kind of executive they'd be.
Obama was smart enough to know what he didn't know, and he went with the very best people he could find. His success is a measure of that.
Ideology is important, to be sure, but more important is the ability to govern through reality and facts. Obama is that guy. |

| There are too many pay backs for someone who has been in DC for longer than one term. |

Yes, voting in McCain or Hillary would have predictable outcomes. At least with Obama he "seems" to promise a change from the past two disastrous terms.
Looks like Obama will beat Clinton but i'm still not sure America is ready to vote for a black president.
It will be a terrible shame if thats the reason McCain becomes president because in the words of Pat Buchanan: McCain ‘Will Make Cheney Look Like Gandhi’
