even democrat john rockefeller, chairman of the select committee on intelligence said that everything was substantiated by intelligence community estimates.

this includes biological weapons, chemical weapons, support for terror groups other than al-qaeda and that iraq was a safe haven for people like al-zarqawi, whom was affiliated with binladen.

Well, I guess we'll have to wait until Bush's executive priviledge expires and a real investigation begins so we can both find the truth.

I'm ok with that.

the lie is that this was the reason for the war. it wasnt. its a false reason.
analogy:
man goes into umbrella store to steal the money.
man gets caught and says, " i was only here to buy an embrella because i thought it was going to rain today, and i can prove it by showing the weather intelligent reports saying there was a 99% change of rain."

PS:
if we really cared about bad people not having WMD, we would have already attacked iran.
which we should do.

Let the jury decide when the time comes.

Oh, I think WE ALL know he lied.

We're just waiting for the proof.

It's coming soon, don't worry.

you already charged him guilty earlier though, make up your mind.

and the select committee on intelligence is essentially a jury, they came to the conclusion that everything was substantiated by intelligence community estimates. just as many of the people who had access to the same info did, such as clinton, john kerry, al gore, etc etc.

If there is an impeachment, Bush will not be able to use "executive privilage".....I think that is why Nixon just resigned....

I mentioned "pardons" earlier in the thread....I might be mistaken about that, but I am SURE about executive privilage.

This is probably going to become the norm. No matter who the president is, the opposition party will draw up articles of impeachment. It's become a tool of partisan battle.

The "lojik" of a mindless cockroach.

America and Americans should have nothing to fear from Truth and Justice. If we had handled past criminal administrations as was due (Nixon, Reagan), we wouldn't be fucked as we are right now.

Time douche bag time, it has been EIGHT years, why now? He is at the end of the his 2nd term. It is too late and useless at this point. Address why it took him this long to start the process. Don't bring up that he tried to impeach Cheney last year, not 4 years ago but last year. Your K-man is a little slow on the uptake.

Well the House Committee had no problem investigating Bill Clinton and White Water long after it was over and there was proof of no wrong doing.

Its the law and the example it would set for other Rogue Presidents.

Yeah a deterent in politics. Didn't your city elect mayor street twice. the second time while he was under a federal investigation for corruption? Political deterents work real well.

Those are the statements of either an idiot, a DUPE, a Bush ball-licker, or likely all three.

1. Just because it was not done sooner, has absolutely NO CONNECTION to whether or not it should be done at all.

2. There is no time limit or statute of limitations for impeachment, Treason, or War Crimes.

3. In the face of the evidence, impeachment is a Constitutional imperative/duty/law/requirement.

4. Justice and Truth are "useless"??? You MUST be a republican.

Quote: Originally posted by cavlou

That is irrelevant to the issue of whether or not it should be done. I realize now you are too stupid to understand this.

But here are some possibilities:

1. Goose-stepping GOP Congress.

2. Cowardly, craven Dems. He's been trying to get support.

3. Failure and complicity of our Corporate "media".

4. Had to build the case.

5. Had to do Cheney first.

All the intelligence Bush had, the Democrats in Congress had. Whatever Bush wanted, except for a few (like Kucinich), the Democrats rubber-stamped. But now that it's election time they get to pretend that they differed from him in any substantial manner.

If they can prove that he lied, then he should be impeached. But it looks like election-year campaigning to a cynic like me.

1. The "intelligence" was STOVE-PIPED by the Bush Administration.

2. There are 35 Articles of impeachment. It isn't just about Iraq.

3. Kucinich is alone in this. Who is "they"???

Thats the kind of nonsense you jackassed Republicans dwell on. Keep supporting him while he has been shoving this war up your ass too. Don't complain when the bill is due for his fiscal irresponsibility.

I would still be a Democrat if people like Dennis were still around. "Progressives" are the new "Neo-Cons" of the Democratic movement. I'm sticking with Dr Paul. All other choices are financial hell. Don't worry, we'll bring Republicanism back to something people can stand.

Shit, at the very least, we need someone to overturn this 2 party fallacy and get equal treatment/coverage of ALL parties. That way we can select ideas, not ideology.

When it comes down to it, we need somebody who is not fucking crazy.

Any Questions?
